It gets rid of spots on dishes!!! Helps rinse your dishes clean!!
I really like finish brand rinse aide. I moved out of my home for over a year to a town that had a different water system. I would use the dishwasher and the dishes had a film left on them and many spots. It left the dishes dirtier in my opinion than when Ihad put them in. I wondered what I was going to do. I was using an expensive brand (Calgon) to wash them. It wasnt until I switched over to finish and started using both the finish dish detergent with the little ball inside along with this finish rinse aide did I see such a wonderful difference. My dishes were sparkling again!. It was like a miracle. to me. NO more hand washing ... Yeah! Even if i used the old cheap brand of detergent and used finish rinse aide, the dishes came out without that white stuff all over them. Of course I washed all my dishes over again with this rinse aide in place. Another thing I like about this is that the botttle is LARGE! Im used to getting one single use units from the drug store but you will find that with this botttle that it will last anywhere from 1-3 months depending on how many dishes you do. I wash dishes at least 2 loads a day and even sometimes 3. I have a busy household. The bottle says 65 washes and has 6.75 ounces of product. If you need to stretch the product for any reason you can mix it with vinegar and it will work just as good. Just use 1/2 and 1/2. I tend to get many more loads than the 65 it says on the bottle for some reason. I will update with a check; wash by wash to determine how many exactly I do get when using it full strength. It does not harm any of the dishes as long as they are dishwasher safe.

Works...but with a caveat!
Finally, a dry dishwasher!!! We installed 2 Monogram d/w's in 2015, but even with the "max" drying cycle, there was still way too much moisture left after each cycle & I got tired of toweling off dishes and the entire interior of the d/w. The GE tech said the "trick" is to run the hot water before starting the d/w, but that made no sense. (he said hot water helps with drying!) When I shared the issue with my plumber -son, he said to try this. I did & there was a huge difference! I can't find this in any stores so come here to order it. About a year ago, I stopped using it as I have no clue when this is released during the cycle or if it's even rinsed off after applied, so wonder what we could be drinking when using the glasses. But it made a big difference & I miss it, so I'm taking the risk to save time and my back from bending to dry what should be dry in the first place. I've had dishwashers for 47 years & this is the first time a dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes or racks or bottom - even when adding the "max dry" cycle. It's the ridiculous "star-energy" thing as it isn't just Monogram..

Turbo version Jet Dry is Incrementally better than basic formula. Fewer wet plastic items and fewer water spots generally.
I readily admit that in the scheme of things, opening the dishwasher (after it's washed our dirty dishes while we busied ourselves with other chores) to find that all our plastic cups and storage containers are sopping wet isn't one of life's biggest problems. But we weren't super thrilled when we discovered that our expensive and whisper-quiet new dishwasher clearly earned its excellent energy star rating by simply eliminating the energy-hog-heating element that thoroughly dried dishes and cups in our older model machine. We've used the regular Jet Dry for years and can always tell (without looking at the gauge on the machine's dispenser) when it's time to add more. However, even with the regular version Jet Dry, things were often still damp and some had spots. It's been about two months since we've started using the Turbo version of Jet Dry and while it's not 100%, we do think it does a better job of assisting with drying and reducing water spots generally than the regular formula and we've now ordered more (as it's difficult or impossible to find locally).I only wish that after helping dry our clean dishes, we could teach it to put them away.

Doesn't seem much better than regular Jet-dry
I bought this hoping to make my dishes come out drier, especially baby bottles. I am tired of having to dump the water that collects on the top of (upside-down) bottles and coffee mugs. I always do a full load on the normal cycle with heated dry. I was hoping I could get rid of the heated drying option with this product to save some energy costs...but that will not be happening. This product was only slightly better than the regular Jet-dry, which I have been using for years. I personally don't think it is worth the additional cost for the marginal improvement.

IT WORKS! Makes emptying the dishwasher less annoying because now everything ACTUALLY DRIES, even Tupperware.
This has made emptying the dishwasher a significantly less annoying chore.I used to hate that my dishwasher never tried my Tupperware. I pack my lunch frequently, so I use a lot of containers, and every time I'd empty the dishwasher I'd have to lay out all my containers on the counter to dry. I felt like I was emptying the dishwasher twice: once out the machine, then again after everything was dry.I'd googled, changed dishwasher soap, tried an extended drying cycle, and just gave up. For years, I've let my plasticware drain on the counter. When I saw this was an item in the "buy 5, get $6 off" promo Amazon Prime Pantry runs, I rolled my eyes but decided to try it.IT WORKS! IT WORKS! I only have to empty the dishwasher once now. I can't believe it works! Honestly, for me, this is a game changer.

Love this stuff! Just don't use too much.
A couple of years ago, I switched from buying bottled water to buying clear glass reuseable water bottles. It wasn'the until then that I truly came to appreciate this product. My water bottles aren't just CLEAN when they come out of the dishwasher, they SPARKLE! That is thanks to Finish Jet-Dry!One thing that I will caution buyers about, though, is using too much Jet-Dry. I did so a few times when I first started using my glass water bottles and when I'd refill them with my front-of-fridge water fountain, the force of the water going into the newly-washed bottles would cause them to foam or bubble up!It's easy to think that if a little is good, a lot is better, but NOT in this case! A little goes a long way! So keep it to a little squirt and you'll be drinking water in crystal clear glasses/bottles vs. drinking soapy water. ☺
