My one and only.
This one here is my favorite flavor. I wish they would release this particular flavor in the 5lb. But I doubt my dreams will come true. Even though I could tell the recipe has changed, as the flavor isn't as strong as it use to be. Its a tad bit weaker, but still very yummy. It is also very easy to respice if you need to. Unlike some of the other flavors I have yet to try. This one is tried and true to me.IF you enjoy chai, and find it a little light in flavor easily add cin, nutmeg, etc to it and your back on track with a stronger taste.

add peaches and cream and it improves drastically
alone this kinda tastes icky. mix with peaches and cream and it tastes GREAT. use my ninja to make snow and mix with milk and yumm cause all the spices in chai mix well with peaches and cream! btw start with milk, add the powder, mix THEN add the snow/crushed ice. in this order will save you lumps and unmixed product

Tasty!
The chai flavor is surprisingly delicious! Don't expect the spicy flavor from a coffee house chai latte; it's more of a sweet, cinnamon flavor with just the slightest hint of "green". I make mine with 1% cow milk. I stick a mason jar in the freezer for a few minutes before adding slightly less than one scoop of powder, then I add my milk, tighten the lid and shake it up. Only takes a few seconds to incorporate it all, and if you let it sit for a minute before drinking it thickens into a very satisfying texture. In my experience, it tastes better the colder it is. I've been drinking them for a few months now and have not gotten tired of the flavor.

Well-balanced spice
Chai-flavored products can go either way (sugary and too bland or way too much clove, typically) but I was pleasantly surprised that this falls right in the middle. I'm a big fan of Spiru-tein and have been for years, and this flavor is a nice change when I want a different flavor, but not overpowered by any one spice note. I'd definitely buy it again.

Love Spiru-Tein, but Hate Chai Latte Flavor
Worst flavor, don't recommend it. I hung on to the container for a while then just threw it out because I never used it. I love the vanilla, tropical is ok too but not needed as I add fruit to mine anyway. Something about the chai is off.

Not a good "Chai" flavor
I do know that when buying protein shakes, it's always wise to expect a chalky aftertaste, or an undertaste of artificial sweeteners. However, I've found that with Spirutein, that hasn't been the case... until the Chai Latte powder. It's palatable if I have no other protein powders in the house, otherwise I avoid it. Thankfully the containers are rather small compared to, say, Muscle Milk, but since I've switched from whey based to plant based proteins, the pickins are slim. There is a definite chalky under and aftertaste, and a strange, artificial flavor that was designed to mimic Chai, but has clearly failed. In it's defense, I do make my protein powders with water rather than a milk substitute, but I'm not sure it would make a difference. I've tried vanilla Rice Dream, Vanilla Coconut Milk, and Vanilla Almond milk, as well as regular versions of the aforementioned with no changes to the flavor, albiet a creamier texture. I have, however, found that mixing in a half cup of sugar free Oregon Chai syrup helps a bit with the flavor, but it does not get rid of the chalky texture.I tried, Nature's Plus, I really did...but your Chai Spirutein and I were simply not meant to work out.

Excellent product
I was so excited when I tried Spiru-Tein...not impressed with other brands I had tried. This company makes a wonderful, delicious product. You get the sense that you are having a milkshake instead of a healthy protein vitamin drink. The flavors are all great but this one is my favorite. I add a banana and use Almond or Rice Milk instead of water. It's how I start each day.

Nutrition was excellent, taste was so so.
As a 'chai latte' taste something is lacking but it was decent enough. We westerners don't really get chai......it is not a sweet drink, it is a spiced tea.The nutrition is good.
