Ardell Red Gold Corrector Plus Hair Color Corrector 24-Count

I use this color corrector when I bleach a potion of my hair for dying with Manic Panic's cool colors... I simply mix it in with my bleach power and developer to diminish the yellow tones in my bleached hair -so especially these individual packets work well for my needs. I bought this product not just because it works well, but because it's hard to find it for sale in my area and when I do find it just one packet costs around $3. So buying this here saves me time and money! - - Recommended!!

After spending hundreds of dollars at the salon getting my hair purple, I was extremely disappointed! My hair is naturally so dark that it looks almost black, but the hair stylist bleached my hair before she applied the purple so I was expecting it to be very noticeable and vibrant. Boy, was I wrong! Since then, I did days and hours of research online to decide how to re-bleach my hair myself. Once I felt I had all the information, I learned that if you bleach your hair, it could turn out looking an orange, brassy tone. I mixed this with developer after I bleached before I used toner and It definitely made a difference in evening out the color! I was extremely happy with this product and the result! It worked really well. I would highly recommend!

I see no difference when i use this. Or maybe i dont use it right. But doesn't work on my hair extensions

I started buying these first at Sally’s beauty supply after watching a video of a girl who dyes her hair blonde at home and adds theses to the hair dye. I wouldn’t ever not add theses to my hair dye again.... I was a natural blonde till I was 16 years old then unfortunately my hair started getting darker...I have paid so much money in salons getting full head highlights! Then I started dying my own hair Blonde with just light blonde hair dye!! But add these! It’s a must I tell you, it will blow you away. No more reddish/orange tones when you dye your hair at home. I love these so much I ordered 2 boxes to stock up! It’s that good :)

Can't say it did much of anything. Had high hopes for the red tinge I got from a hair dye. It is also drying on your hair. Brittle feel.

I use these packets to add to regular shampoo to make my own purple shampoo to keep my blonde hair icy toned. Also add them to a hair mask to condition if you damaged your hair during the process.

Love it! I have blonde highlights. This product neutralizes the yellowish tint of the highlights. And for the darker underlying hair, it gives it an auburn color. This is a very purple color. Tip: I combine this with a blue-corrector conditioner, until it matches the color I need to correct the brassiness of my hair more accurately. It works because this product is very purple and the blue conditioner is very blue, so you can mix it until it fits your needs. I add a little water, put it in a spray bottle, and spray where needed.

I'm so upset with this product! I read about it in detail. After using this just once, it turned my bronze beautiful hair color to a almost black with burgundy all over! I'm so upset and its going to take a large amount of money to go get it fixed, when I had originally did the bronze myself. Do not buy this product!!!
