The Hoont cobra water jet blaster animal repeller - motion activated the Hoont cobra water jet blaster animal deterrent drives away unwanted "visitors" to your garden or property with a harmless jet of water. When the built-in sensor detects movement within a range of up to 30 feet, the jet of water is activated for approximately 5 seconds. Animals are frightened by this jet of water and immediately leave the monitored area, and learn to avoid this area in the future. Also, the clicking noise of the distribution valve that sounds when the jet of water is activated frightens the animals and helps to drive them away. The jet of water is only reactivated when movement is once again detected. This ensures high effectiveness with very low water consumption. The Hoont cobra water jet blaster animal repeller is the most humane method for keeping animals and pests out of your property. It doesn't kill or harm the animals, it just sprays them with an annoying squirt of water, thus forcing them to leave the area. With no messy traps, chemicals or pesticides, it's absolutely safe for you, your kids and for your pets. Repels birds, dogs, cats, squirrels, skunks, deer, wild animals, etc. Easy setup connect the hose, stick the garden stake into the ground and adjust your water spray preference. The device is ready to protect your garden and property. Package includes: Motion detector water sprayer hose connection stake owners manual. Works great!!
I bought this brand of motion sensor sprinkler to replace a broken one of a different brand. The battery was located in much more accessible location in the front. The construction is better also, because it has a metal stake and is higher off the ground. Its working fine so far.

Outdoor jet spray deterrant
Love this. We have some stray animals in the neighborhood that get into out trash. We hooked this up right here the trash can and it has helped. It's a great product that does the trick but does not hurt unwanted animals.

This unit is better constructed than the Scarecrow and the battery compartment is ...
I have found nothing that deters a blue heron except a grid of fishing line over the top of the pond. These type of sprinklers are very effective at keeping deer out of the flower garden. I decided to try this brand because I'm tired of replacing the Scarecrow every two years. This unit is better constructed than the Scarecrow and the battery compartment is very well protected from leaks which short the batteries. Easy to assemble and set up. Range adjustment is accurate, no more spraying trees in the wind or cars as they drive by. Connected 2 units for maximum coverage (see photo)Update after 60 days of use - up the rating to 5 stars. First time no deer in the garden in 10 years. Still works great and haven't had to change batteries yet.

PERFORMS AS ADVERSTISED
After reading some less than positive reviews of this product, I was happy to learn that the Hoont Cobra Jett Blaster performs exactly as represented. The jet spray is adjustable and the sensor is adjustable and sensitive. More importantly, the product removed some unwanted guests around my more sensitive planting areas. When I went back and reviewed the unfavorable reviews, it was clear that the people that complained about the product simply did not understand how to assemble and or use it. I have ordered a second Blaster for a friend who has pests in their garden as well.

Say bye bye that jerk of a cat!
My neighbors cat had decided that my red wood-chip side yard was going to be his new bathroom and NOTHING I did was stopping this pain in the butt feline from dropping a nightmarish amount of stinky land mines next to my house. I tried all kinds of sprays and powders and nothing worked for more than a day or so. It was so bad, i couldn't even open the windows on that side of the house because of the stench and the neighbor would do nothing to stop it. I like animals and i know it's not the cat's fault so I didn't want to do anything bad to it but I was running out of options until I found this baby!I already knew I was going to modify it a little but it was exactly what I needed! I removed the sprinkler head and replaced it with a 1/4" irrigation connector, then ran 1/4" tubing to strategic places around the yard and attached misters at the ends. Now when the cat comes into the yard, the misters turn on and basically cover the whole area in a fine mist, not only deterring the cat, but also watering all my plants at the same time. The water only stays on for about 3 seconds and scares off all animals without blasting them in the face. After setting it up, it was only a couple hours before I caught the cat on the security cam trying to do his business. To my delight he approached with slow caution as I had just changed out all the chips so he was being a bit cautious. He didn't trigger the motion sensor until he was well within the 'blast radius' and when those misters clicked on, he jumped about 5 feet into the air from mid squat, sending wood chips flying everywhere. He then immediately walked over and pooped on my front walkway where there was no motion sensor. On the good side, it's been a month and not one poop on my redwood chips and fortunately, he hasn't done his business anywhere else that I know of either. But if he does, I know exactly what I'm going to buy! My yard and my nose thank you!

... these for over a month and I am well pleased with both of them
Been using two of these for over a month and I am well pleased with both of them. I purchased these to chase away the dogs from yard and they do a good job. The motion sensor works really good out to 50 - 60 feet, cars set them off when they pass by on the road. And as a bonus it even chased off a thief at at 2:30 AM that I caught on security camera approaching my work truck, neighbors vehicle was unlocked and had something stolen. I think the sensor is better than the one on the Scarecrow that I purchased and it was more expensive. These things only use about 1 1-2 cups of water but claims on the box 2 -3 cups per cycle. The cycle time duration is 5 seconds. The distance that the stream of water reaches out from it is about 30 - 35 feet, we have average water pressure. You can set your range of spray with the two green clips that are part of the sprayer, I did not realize that there were two clips because they were stacked on top of each other. It comes assembled except for the plastic ground steak that screws on the bottom to anchor it in the ground and the two AA batteries that need to be furnished and are still going strong. They are made in China, but it is hard to find stuff made in the USA, I would rather spend a little extra for USA products to keep us employed. There is only one negative, in the late afternoon it seems that the sun angle or refection appears to set it off for maybe an hour, and it could be that the reflection off my vehicle is causing this have not confirmed this. I will purchase more of them.

Too sensitive
The device seems too sensitive to motion. I have a feral cat problem in my yard and after trying many types of deterrents, I thought I give this one a shot. Although I think the idea of water spray is great, the design behind the tool isnt intelligent. The motion sensor activates at ANY motion (yes, I've adjusted the range & water pressure). It is fall right now and a bit windy outside. The device is placed in my backyard where the feral cats like to lounge and take a poo. I have been observing the device and it works great to scare away the cats, squirrels and birds however the sensor triggers when ANYTHING MOVES, like branches swaying in the wind. My backyard is now soaking wet and mostly due to the windy conditions and not feral cats.I'm pretty disappointed as I think the idea is effective however the design isn't so smart and not quite there yet. I'm returning the device.

Works great on cats
I almost trapped my neighbors cat and released it into a den of coyotes. Thanks to this it provided satisfaction on video of the cats getting scared to death and now they don't come back!
