Here’s the issue with every single Makeblock item - they’re designed to fulfill only the purposes stated. If you want to follow the Makeblock lessons, they work. Mostly. If your intent is to use them to create your own projects, to use the ease of connection to build an advanced project, you can expect to see, over and over, a complete lack of documentation and virtually zero help from the manufacturer. Also expect that the more advanced features, like encoders, either are so poorly documented or don’t function at all, that you realize you should have used the real products.Makeblock has one claim to fame: ease of connections. That ends once you’ve exhausted their examples. If you encounter issues or want to use a 3rd party product, you’re more than simply on your own. Most of the libraries are undocumented. Just do a search for any product. You’ll find multiple pages under multiple domain names. They can’t even keep that straight! Then ask for help in the forums. Go ahead, I’ll wait.Look. Buy the real Arduinos or Pi’s. Get some wires and connect them. You’ll end up with more money in your pocket and hair on your head. Unless you just want them for your kids.Update: to be fair, the fit and finish of the robot construction parts is really top notch. They are thoughtfully designed and well made.

It meets expectations. Could use better documentation.
