If you can, I would suggest reading the series books in order...each book contains a sneak preview chapter from the next. Great marketing tool, especially for the elementary kids! But if that is not an option, the stories do stand alone. And yes, the stories are predictable but the books are great reading practice. The illustrations are line drawings and our five-year-old daughter likes to color them as she is reading through the book.

My daughter loves these books and I don't mind reading them to her. The chapters are a good length for us and we like that there are some pictures, but it's not a baby book. I took off a star for this one because there were a few typos. Also the pictures were blurry. (We had a Kindle version, not paper.) This was the first time we had this problem.

My daughter loves this series. Most of the time, we pick them up from the library, but I surprised her with this one for Christmas. She devoured it quickly and keeps it in her bookcase in a special spot reserved for her favorite books.

My 7 year old daughter loved this book. Once she began reading it, she could barely put it down. As a matter of fact, she loves the entire Ocean Fairies series. The series is part of the reading counts program at her school, so she racks up points quickly when she finds a series she loves.

It is so fun to read. I finished it in about 20 minutes. I just couldn't put it down at all.

My 6 year old likes this book. She just started reading so she needs help with a few words but otherwise great book.

Great book though it was a little boring though it was good and bad at the same time what do y'all think about the book. If i had to choose it would probably be good. Read the rest for more of the magic
