Gentle on processed hair
I have white processed hair. Understandably, bleaching and toning my hair to a silver-white color has not left it in the healthiest condition, and requires a good amount of product and upkeep to keep it fluffy and soft. I also work a physically laborious job, and "not washing" my hair every day is not an option for me. Between my uses of purple shampoo, I wanted something that would prevent the purple from building up an undesirable tone on my hair without doing any more damage to my hair than I needed to. Ive only used this co-wash for a couple weeks, but I can say that my hair feels soft, clean, and smooth on the days I use it.I find that I have to use 4-6 pumps to confidently feel like I am covered in product, and use deep conditioner on my ends afterward. It's kinda pricey, and I don't think it's going to last forever, but I may think it's more worth the price by the end of the bottle. I am pretty happy with the results of this co-wash and feel like it's done everything I wanted of it so far.

Great product
I use this alone and with Briogeo's green tea clarifying shampoo, which I also really like. I try to wash my hair every other day, every third day when I can get away with it. I have very straight, very fine hair--but lots of it, which means that my hair can run the gamut of dry with some frizz to weighted down with oil. The clarifying shampoo 1-2x per week keeps my oil under control and the co-wash keeps my hair moisturized the rest of the week. My hair looks very healthy and shiny using these products. Just a word of caution, make sure to wash out your hair very very thoroughly. Every now and then I am not careful enough and will find my hair weighted down with the product, which leaves it greasy. But if you rinse it out thoroughly--and then rinse some more--it works great. I like rinsing in cold water since I feel it adds an extra bit of shine but I have found that the co-wash rinses best with hot water. Once I have rinsed thoroughly with hot water, then I will do a quick rinse in cold water without any problems.

Great for my hair and scalp
This co-wash is perfect for me. It's gentle to my hair and scalp; keeping my scalp clean and my curls from frizzing. I use this year-round. I had an issue with some hair thinning, but this has kept that from being noticeable just by keeping my hair in good health; my dermatologist told me to never stop using this. I strongly recommend this.

Didn't do any good!
I've been using this "Be Kind Avocado Co-Wash" for several weeks now, but I have not seen any positive change to my hair or scalp...at all. Its scent is mild and very pleasant, and I like the fact it's free of harsh chemicals. However, It hasn't done any good job to my hair, other than increasing oil production which is not good for my already oily, thin hair. Since then, I used it on ends only as a replacement of a traditional conditioner. To be honest, it's just too expensive if you want to use it as a conditioner or treatment only. Plus, I had to pump 7-10 times to cover my entire (thin, short) hair to fully cleanse but every time I feel like it didn't break off any oil residue on my hair. So what I end up doing these days is that I apply my other shampoo first and then finish with a second application with this Co-wash. What a waste of money and product! I would rather go back and use my favorite "As I am coconut cowash" instead.

Is it a knockoff? Am I using it wrong? Or does it just suck? We may never know...
I'd never co-washed before and was excited to try this after looking up articles on suggested products to do this with. Briogeo is a company I had never heard of and was surprised by so many accolades on the internet. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but this dried out my hair, much to my surprise. I thought if anything, my hair would be overly greasy. Scared to purchase from the site to compare to this one, worried I'm going to get the same results. Used sometimes 1 pump over directed 4-8 pumps, and some days back to back, some times 3-4 days apart. After over 2 months, it's sitting in my shower 60% full. Some background on my hair:I'm naturally a level 5 (medium brown), and lightened my hair between levels 8-10 since 2016. Last year, I decided to grow out the blond so I cut a good amount off and dyed it chocolate brown. I obviously have really sensitive ends because they are brittle from the lightening.

PAWSITIVE REVIEW
This is going to sound crazy, but here goes!I love this product on my own hair, but this weekend I ran out of the natural pet shampoo we usually use,and my dog really needed a bath after a sandy jaunt At the beach. She was a mess. No pet shampoo -The one time my Amazon Prime order was late!!!In desperation , I turned to my own shower and reached for the Briogeo Gentle Shampoo. My Standard Poodle has the thick, curly, dry, frizz prone hair type that would benefit from its conditioning treatment so.... why not ?( Yes, i do recognise it IS on the expensive side for a pet shampoo ) just reporting the facts here!I can now report that her hair has never, ever looked or felt as shiny or soft since she was a puppy It is falling in shiny ringlets!I guess this is really going to earn the name COWASH in a whole new way now, because from now on I will be sharing my shampoo with my lucky dog! This is just proof of the cleansing and conditioning treatment of this shampoo no matter how many legs you have!

Nice, gentle shampoo
I bought this because I'm trying to go more natural and more gentle in my hair care lately. It definitely left my hair feeling clean, but not too clean, if that makes sense. There wasn't any greasiness or oiliness, but it wasn't stripped or dry. The shampoo doesn't lather at all, so I bought a silicon hair massager to help work it in, and that seems to help a lot. I will continue using. I may use a regular shampoo for when I feel I need more of a clarifying clean, but for day-to-day I'm loving this.

Good for dry, damaged, color-treated hair, and in between shampoo treatments!
So far I’m loving this co-wash!! I honestly didn’t realize what a co-wash was until I had one- a few people had mentioned them but I don’t think I really realized until I used one myself. Anyway, I have very dry and naturally more course hair to begin with, and I’m blonde via color treatment. Needless to say, I’m constantly having to make sure the hair products I’m using are moisturizing my hair and also protecting it from damage due to my blow dryer, flat iron and bleaching it blonde!
