It needs work
10x20 ALPS Mountaineering MicroFiber Camp PillowA decent pillow, for the cost... However, I was expecting it to be slightly more stuffed...Upon removing it from its super-tight accommodations in the bag, I noticed that all of the stuffing was only at one end and had to re-fluff and space it out... When laid on, the pillow rises up on both sides of your head and caves down in the middle. When not being laid upon, the pillow measures 20 inches long, 10 inches wide and 6 inches thick (from floor to top of surface). The fabric has the brand name ALPS subtly placed across the entire fabric, upside down and right-side up.The stitching left some to be desired. Multiple areas along one side had loose threads which were not properly secured together, leaving a border-less edge, with perforations. However, I believe this to be mainly cosmetic stitching, because upon inspection it seems the 2 pieces of fabric are joined in a hidden seam, at the left and right edges of the pillow, tucked away from view.I can tell that the product idea was there, but the manufacturing side of things, and quality control need to be stepped up...Exterior: 100% PolyesterInterior: 100% Resinated Polyester Fiber BattingNet weight of filling material listed to be 7 oz.Made in China (where else?!)Washing Instructions: Hand wash in warm water with a mild soap or detergent. Rinse in warm water, and air dry, or dry with "air only" setting in a commercial dryer. Instructions are printed on the tag in English and in French.

Nice comfy pillow, small stuff sack
I got this pillow because I heard positive comments about the inclusion of a stuff sack. I agree that the stuff sack is very useful for holding (and shrinking) a travel pillow, but this thing is pretty tough to use. When the pillow arrived it came rolled up inside the stuff sack. It was actually very difficult to remove from the stuff sack cause there is nothing on the sack to grab on to while you're pulling the pillow out. I had to pull really hard (and I'm a guy) to get the pillow out of there. Once removed the pillow feels very nice and looks to made of quality materials. Its pretty good size (I got the 16x24) for a travel pillow and should work rather nicely.I thought i'd put the pillow back in the sack in the more traditional "stuff, stuff, stuff" method. Although the pillow fit (BARELY), it was pretty difficult to get the entire thing back in the stuff sack. The sack looks to be of pretty decent quality, but I have some serious concerns that it could easily bust at a seam from the pressure and the amount of effort required to fit it back in the sack. Hopefully it will prove me wrong though.

Good Pillows
I have 2 campers that will enjoy these, but I purchased these for a long flight. I imagine these will be propped on me with one kid on each side. I was able to easily roll the pillows back inside their built-in cases and see no need for a wash/dry cycle before use as they fluffed sufficiently upon unrolling. I did not notice a chemical smell like other memory foam products that must out-gas before use. I will likely cover these with soft cases that can easily be washed. Mine did not arrive vacuum packed, but were sealed in a plastic wrap. I don't know if that explains the quick "fluffing" upon un-stuffing I saw. These conveniently roll up to a quarter of their full size. I wish I would have ordered the large ones, as I am a man and like my pillows big, but to keep space take up minimal, they are just fine. They would be ideal for kids or women. I do like the material as they are soft on your face and probably won't hold dirt.

less fluffy than I like, but it works
So, first things first: this is a backpacking pillow. It's made to be ultra compactable and lightweight. It's not a luxury pillow for day campers who trek 50 feet from the car to the tent. That being said, it does what it's supposed to. Gives a little extra cushion on top of a sleeping pad and compacts small enough to fit in my Teton Scout 3400 along with my other gear. It's not the fluffiest pillow around, but it's enough to keep my neck from getting sore overnight, which is all I can really ask of a camp pillow. I have the smaller version, the 10x20, but given how small this thing rolls up, I imagine I probably could have gone with the larger one instead. This, however, will come in handy on longer trips where space is more limited in the pack.

Like it has been said before this thing is pretty ...
Like it has been said before this thing is pretty flat. I however can't complain I was looking for a small pillow that I could stuff in my pack. I just double it up and that seems to be enough to elevate my head or keep it off the ground. For the price of around 15 bucks I wasn't expecting memory foam or anything like thst, and maybe my realistic expectations are the biggest reason I am not disappointed with the pillow. If your looking for a backpacking pillow and don't want a rolly inflateable pillow, don't want to spend much. Dont expect the quality of 100 dollar pillow. This will work great

Fits well. Small is okay.
I got the smaller size. It fits my mummy bag perfectly. Yes, it is a small pillow. But it folds nicely and came fairly well packed. It should do its job. For serious hikers you are trying to lose weight as much as possible and this seems a plausible solution for the pillow problem. If you want bigger go with the larger one though I am really not sure how much more support it is going to give. You can bend the small one and double it up and it also seems to do well in that situation but realize it is pretty small.

Decent pillow
Happy with my pillow. For extra comfort I laid my sweatshirt on top so I got extra cushioning and kept my sweatshirt warm for the morning. Lightweight, decent size, good price. Easy to pack into my backpack. Definitely not a necessity if you have a good sleeping bag but glad I have it and happy for the price I got it for!

16 x 24 inches

Pretty light
The pillow is better than nothing, but it doesn't pack down very small and the stuffing is extremely soft so dont expect much for support.

Used it on a wild camping trip
I brought it with me on my first wild camping trip and I'm glad I did. It took up as much space in my bag as the sleeping bag or the inflatable mattress but it was a nice thing to have. It's big enough for a camping pillow and quite comfy. I'll be using it again and recommend it over an inflatable pillow!

Nice and lightweight, good price
Good price. Lightweight. Comfortable when I folded it in half. Takes up a bit of space but I felt it was necessary for the importance of sleep comfort on a canoe-camping trip.
