Philips AVENT Soothie Pacifier, 0-3 months, Green, Vanilla Scented, 2 pack, SCF190/07

In the early months, babies do not know how to soothe themselves, and as parents, we try our best to calm them down by rocking, shushing, or singing to them. But, when that doesn't work (assuming they've been fed, burped and have a clean diaper), try giving them a paci, and not just any paci... give them an Avent soothie.If hospitals are using it, chances are it's the best brand/product out there. For the first month after my son was born, he did not take to a paci. In some cases, that's a good thing since pacis are known to cause dental problems, but the reality is that babies do "flip out" and when they do... this is a life saver.An Avent paci is better than any other brand, but this particular one is vanilla scented - making it even better. Another must have!

My son had to have testing done in the hospital and these things kept him calm through the nine hours of it. They are great. I wish I would have known about these from the beginning. If you are cleaning them I suggest soap and hot water. I boiled 2 and they lost most of the smell. The nurses told me the smell should last about a month, and it seems to. These are wonderful for soothing.

This is was the only pacifier out of many that i tried that my baby would take! I only bought it because my siblings had also used this and I tried all the fancy ones and my baby would not take to any of them and when I finally tried this one, he loved it!

My grandson won't take any other pacifier than these. I have purchased a dozen of these so we always have one handy and not worried that we lost it. They are flavored and he crazy about it. This is like the ones you get at the hospital. I can't say enough good things about this product. I just thank God that they made these. Purchase for everyone that has a baby or having a baby they will love you for you. Buy now!!!!

Bought the vanilla ones by accident but I have no complaints, daughter likes them.Only thing I’m not 100% happy about is the color. It’s not a dark green like the original ones it’s a transparent green so they are harder to find in the dark in the crib in the middle of the night. But that would not stop me from buying them again

I love this pacifier more than the normal soothie! The only thing I don't like about this pacifier is the smell fades out really quick. I learned NOT to mix this pacifier with other non-scent pacis if you want to preserve the smell longer. Keep the paci in a small bag if you want to keep the smell.

We received this type of plug at the hospital, but were not a fan because of the large size. However, or twin girls prefer this style over the normal hard plastic pacifiers, and the smaller rubbery ones with the noise cut out. Go figure.The vanilla scent is also pleasant.We have purchased about 8 total packs. (Babies are 10 weeks) Unfortunately for us, we have a cat that loves to chew on any pacifier so if we are not diligent then we lose about 3 a week to her.

We have always been familiar with the Vanilla Soothie pacifiers as they are given out by the hospital we delivered at. We used them with our first child back in 2006 and have continued the tradition with our more recent arrival. Our kids have NOT liked any other pacifiers and were extremely fickle as to which one they take, but the Soothies have never failed us.I have never had one of the pacifiers degrade in any way. Generally we toss them long before that point (shortly after the Vanilla scent goes away), so we can definitely attest to the durability of the pacifiers. Completely worth every penny spent!
