AMAZING! THEY WORKED!!
I was training for a marathon on the trail this season (hiking) and the day came, just a few short weeks ago for my attempt at my goal. After training all season, since March, I never really had blisters, hot spots, occasionally, but very manageable and easy to treat. I embarked on my marathon, hot spots crept up quickly and by mile 6 I had blisters! I endured the pain for 15 more miles but at 21.5 I just could not bear it anymore. Major disappointment, because physically I was ready with all the strength, determination and stamina I could possibly have. Enter: these sock liners! Long marathon story short: Not even a hint of a hot spot for the full 26.23 miles achieved on the trail that day. My feet, albeit damned tired, were as healthy and blister free as ever. I will not ever hike without these sock liners again. I thought they may be too tight for the entire hike, and they are tight, but not a blood circulating choke hold kind of tight. They added a bit of additional cushion too - dreamy, really, for an endurance hiker like myself. Don't hesitater here, folks! Worth every damned penny if you need gear that performs!

Wish I Could Give 20 Stars
I’m an avid hiker and suddenly whatever boots I tried, and I tried a lot, they would dig into my ankle bone and cause a tremendous amount of pain. I would just deal with it but was hopeful for a solution. These sock liners are it! They provide support and padding and have stopped the friction that was causing the pain. Bonus - I slipped into a creek and got my boots fully soaked. That’s usually a very uncomfortable walk but these sock liners actually got more comfortable when they were wet. It was like gel surrounding my feet. I won’t lie that my toes still feel it on a long hike but zero blisters. I recommend that they’re snug so they’re a little difficult to get on. Plan a few minutes more of hiking prep time to get them on comfortably. Since they are a little thick they may make your boots a little more snug with socks. And you have to get used to a bit of a gel feeling around your foot, which 10 miles into a hike the extra padding is actually welcome. The very best thing is how amazing they feel wet. Such a huge bonus. I could not be happier with these sock liners. They are highly recommended.

not worth the price
After 100 miles on the el Camino Portugal no blister mostly road walking no severe ups and downs yet. They tend to get hot if used as a liner. The liners do not hold up for the long distance hiker, I suffered 3 blisters and holes in the socks sent them back and the company never responded poor customer service be warned

Great product, excellent customer service
Cons: my first mailing was incorrect and by then I only had a short time before going abroad for my hiking trip. But read on…Pros: The fine people at Tahoe Mountain Sports made it right and expedited a new shipment so quickly that I had the correct ArmaSkin product before I departed. The ArmaSkin Anti-Blister Socks rock! I, like most of you, read all the reviews, paying special attention to the negative ones. ArmaSkin socks are snug, and they will feel squishy and weird the first time. Yes, they have to be rolled on, but that will also be a routine that you will welcome because at the end of the day (literally) I certainly did not have blisters. I did feel constricted around the ankle, but I gave them a half turn down and that worked for me. And I did have some little red marks (but no rash), and that went away quickly once the socks were removed.Oh, and people, read the instructions. These go UNDER your regular hiking socks. I can’t believe some of these negative reviews because you didn’t read what you are buying. Thanks, Tahoe Mountain Sports. I hope to visit your store in Truckee one day.

Work best when snug!
6 weeks of daily wear and they still work great. I have a malformation in my feet which causes hot spots and blisters every time I try to walk more than half an hour straight. This makes trips to the theme Park, hiking, almost any activity extremely difficult. I bought these in a desperate moment, thinking I was paying way too much but was willing to take a chance. After a week, my feet healed the blisters , and I have not had one since! To that, I can validate I've walked over 60 miles in the last 6 weeks without a single blister! $35 a pair is a heck of a deal if I can walk everyday and not blister! They roll on and off your feet like a condom. And they feel really funny with that silicone side up against the skin. But you get used to it, and it's worth it to not blister anymore! After 6 weeks of wear and hand washing in the sink, I'm starting to see a little bit of wearing. But if they can go 90 days without a hole in them, I'll consider it money well spent!

Highly suggest for serious hikers
I used these on the Bataan Memorial Death March, a 26.2 mile ruck march through the desert. I was one of the few people out there with ZERO blisters. I did switch out to a new pair at the 14 mile mark, I don't know if it did anything but the balls of my feet were starting to feel warm so I didn't want to risk it. There were a lot of people either treating their own blisters or getting medical attention for them so I was definitely glad I had these. Highly recommend you conduct your training using them so you know how they should feel. There is a right and a left liner so ensure you put them on the correct feet. Also, they are very tight and the seams will bother you if you don't have the liner aligned correctly on your foot.

Painful at ankle bend
After only 1 mile of walking i had painful, red creases where the ankle bends. I tried them again, but the same thing happened. I contacted the company Armaskin, but since I purchased from Amazon and threw out the packaging I could not return. I don't have thick ankles, so please be aware of this issue.

No new blisters, but one time use as one has hole after 12 mile practice.
So I bought them for the Bataan memorial March. I put them on for a 12 mile ruck and when I returned home I already had a hole in the heal of one sock, and the heal looks like the thickest part. If this is what happens eventide no thank you save your $40. They did prevent blisters, but a hole started in 12 mile practice ruck.
