Horrible Ugly Black Marks

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I absolutely love these plates. The design. The weight. The variety of accompanying plate. You might ask -- why the low star count? These plates get really bad black marks on them. After a while, they just look like complete junk! There are a few remedies, like Barkeepers Friend, accompanied by a lot of elbow grease. But even that doesn't work after a while. Be prepared to replace the dinner plates every few years.
