Simple but limited
This is the second pair of Eargo hearing aids I've purchased. I bought the Eargo 5's a few months ago for my Dad who is pretty tech savvy and he ended up really liking the them.So I decided to help my father-in-law get into a pair as well. We decided on the entry level model as my FIL is older and not the most tech-oriented so making it simple and non-app enabled is preferred (plus my father-in-low has a jitter bug phone which I found out doesn't even work with the eargo app). The devices are definitely an older model (see picture between this model and my Dad's newest model) but they're super straight forward. Just charge them and insert into your ear. There are 4 programs and you change each program by double tapping on your ear. My father-in-law liked program 2 and I don't think he's ever changed it since. I can't speak to the sound quality but I can definitely tell that my FIL can hear us better and doesn't blare the TV like he used to.Loud restaurants still seem to bug my FIL and I'm guessing a more customizable device would help fix that. However, we don't frequent many restaurants anymore and I'm just glad these help with his day-to-day hearing and don't require setup assistance.

Small with clear hearing and no device caused background noise
I bought the Eargo Max hearing aids because I don’t need to adjust the aids with a smart phone app and secondly the price. The Max is about half the price of later models. I have been using the Eargos just over a month and they have considerably improved my hearing. The flex fiber system enables them to insert easily into the ear canals and also keeps earwax off the hearing aids. So far I am satisfied with my Eargo Max hearing aids.

amazing,;there was so much sound i was missing and didn't realize
everybody around me was complaning about my hearing loss....i was afraid to even think of the cost of hearing aids...hearing numbers of $5000 and upward made me run the other way....i finally gave in and bought these eargo's...from the onset ,these were amazing...comfort fit right out of the box....so simple to use....i especially like the ear tap for volume control.....i give 5 stars and have absolutely no complaints....these are worth the cost of $1450....

Eargo is Great!
Not only is the product the best hearing aid my husband has ever had, but their customer service has been great. I was unsure how support might be since I ordered via Amazon. From registration to questions and one replacement, Eargo staff have gone above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Eargo!

Over priced
These are very overpriced. The sound quality was not as good as my old MD behind the ear aids. Hammering in my workshop made them change programs, and the chimes in my grandfather clock at home made them squeal. I sent them back.

Sorry, but this pair didn't even last a week.
Only worked a few days. First one went out completely in about three days. The other lasted 5 days.

They provide a crisp, clear natural sound.
I like the fact that they fit completely inside the ear without any ugly protrusion or outside the ear part.
