You need a jacket that has plenty of pockets, a warm lining, and durable trims and we killed all three of these birds with one stone with the Journeyman Field Guide Jacket. Featuring six total pockets, flannel lining, corduroy collar and cuffs, and a snap neck closure.

zipper sucks
zipper sucks hard to zip up, thin jacket, inner pocket ripped.

Nice jacket, sizes are on the small side, not a "winter coat"
Very well made, very comfy, lots of useful pockets. Sizes are on the small side in my opinion. I'm 6' 230 and ordered a 2x based on reviews. It was snug on me so I gave it to my son - he is 6'2" and 180. Fits him well - sleeves are a bit short but not unwearable....and we did get the XXL TALL.If you're looking for more of a winter type coat I'd suggest the Tough as Buck Chore Coat (also from Legendary Whitetails) and go up a size, I got the XXXL TALL. I ended up getting that one and it fits well for my size and is quite warm.

Husband loves
Husband loves it, he’s 6 foot 8 and 245 and this fit him well and he can use layers beneath. Arms are long enough and plenty of room in waist area and it’s longer in torso which is where he always has issues. We don’t like crop tops on him. It has a lot of pockets. This is a fall, spring coat, or mostly south Texas winter, except during snowmageddon times. He is tall and slim, he likes it and it takes him up a notch from casual to a nice casual. And honestly for his size this is a good deal.

Good winter coat
Overall I like it, looks good, comfortable, warm, deducted one start because zipper pull is on the left and I'm used to them being on the right.
