Galaxy S7 Active Battery Case, ZeroLemon S7 Active 8500mAh Extended Battery with Soft TPU Full Edge Protection Case - Black(NOT for The Galaxy S7 Edge OR S7)

After fully charging my S7 Active and this battery I was able to use the phone for 71 hours before the phone had reached 15% charge. WiFi and Blue tooth are always on. I listen to Audible, navigate, read Kindle books sporadically throughout the day and would probably be classified as a "moderate" user.Notes:* The case comes with a little power plug dongle thing which is supposed to connect the battery to the phone. It is not needed. The plug that's in the battery case plugs right into the phone for a very professional, streamlined fit.* Apparently, the battery has a smart charging control because after discharging the battery, followed by recharging the phone/battery combo the phone will charge first, then the battery will charge. It appears that the Samsung smart charger/rapid charger maintains its high performance even when charging through the battery.* It wasn't obvious to me on the web site but the battery pack includes a usb port for charging other devices, such as your ear buds etc. You might also consider paying for your battery case by offering a charging service to the sad iPhone user who is realizing the concert still has two hours to go and they're already at 20%. Adjust your fees according to market demands -- do they provide your ride home? If not, the price goes up.* This case more than doubles the heft of your phone so don't expect to carry it around in your shirt pocket all day.* Don't just stand there, get to charging!

This was performing excellently. Then, one morning, I woke up after leaving the phone and battery combo connected and plugged in overnight, and it had just stopped working at some point overnight. The zerolemon battery won't charge whether separated or connected to the phone, the phone won't charge when connected to the battery (it does when connected to the same charger without the battery), the lights on the zerolemon battery no longer light up for any reason. I reached out to zerolemon and their customer support leaves something to be desired. I called the phone number on their website, no one answered and the answering machine left me wondering if it was even zerolemon I called (no identification). The chat feature on their website (which says they typically reply in minutes) never resulted in any type of response at all. I submitted a ticket as well through their website that never resulted in anything. When I called the number a second time, I did speak with someone that identified themselves as Zerolemon. The battery was purchased 8 months ago which is beyond the stated warrantee period. I was offered a 50% off coupon for a new battery.

So I've used zero lemon on quite a bit of my phones in the past. This is the first that is just way too big. On the s5 it was big but I dealt with it. I wish they would have made it a little smaller and took advantage of the wireless charging abilities of the s7 instead of making the case longer to make a wired connection. With all that aside it is good to grab and throw it in to charge it while on the go. Again the only issue is there's no place to put the phone as it won't fit in a pocket. I would still buy again.

After just 8 weeks, the case is no longer taking charge. Kept it plugged in 12 hours, still at 1 led light. Received this case for the S7 Edge (company shipped me the wrong case and never sent me correct case, S7 Active).Have been using it for about 8 weeks now. Noticing more fatigue in wrist due to the weight this case adds to the phone. Granted, it is a "long-lasting" battery and can charge your phone almost 3 times over. It can also be a good weapon in the case of a zombie apocalypse. I must say, though, there are other cases much slimmer out there for the S7, a lot of which are right here on amazon. With a much better build quality (this case is merely a thin plastic/rubber case with a space between the back of the phone and the front of the case to fit a big sized portable battery).Also, don't try to remove the case after installation, it will rip out your charging port on phone.All in all, avoid this case, as there are less expensive, lighter and more viable options. Fits perfect on my gs7 active. Kinda thick about 1inch an alil heavy but for a 8500mah it's good special since it has a usb out put charger cool aswell. Very happy about this product. Wish I could find 4000mah battery would be small an lighter thats what I was looking for but for the gs7 zero lemon is the only battery case iv found that makes it for the gs7 for about $60 That beats at&t battery case priced at $100 for the same mah

This case is a beast. If I am using the case and my son wants to use my phone (which happens ALL THE TIME) he asks, "Can I use the brick phone?"He can talk all the trash he wants, but the reason he asks to use my "brick phone" is that it is *still* charged even when his has been dead a long time.It is heavy and bulky but worth it.

I bought two , one for my partner and I. I ended up returning mine due to the size but the product works really well. He loves his and it holds a charge seemingly forever. I even charged my phone off his case in an emergency. The only thing I'll say is that the measurements are listed, so pay attention to them. I didn't and ended up with a product that wouldn't fit in my pocket...

Works flawlessly. Phone charged first to 100% then backup battery charged fully over night. Currently phone has been on and used normal for 4 hours and phone still shows 100%.. will see how this goes through out the day of use. So far....SasweeetWell...Love it. Phone stayed 100% charged all day with normal use. The charger has 4 LED lights that let you know how much charge is left in it. After 15 hours of use; the LED lights showed that the charger still had 3 full lights. After using the samsung quick charge; no issues. Awesome product.
