I was VERY upset/disappointed to find when I opened the first of my 6 vent covers that the company was too CHEAP to add the necessary screws for installation. I couldn't complete my project when I wanted to and had the time to do because of this. Without a second thought, consumers would assume that for over $12 per vent cover that screws would be included. Exactly what ARE 'appropriate screws? Of course I know to get the right size and type but what a dumb way to put that information. I will never order from this company again - unless they were to send me 18screws - 3 each for the 6 vent covers I purchased. Buyers, beware!IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the company and without ANY hassle they agreed to send me the 18 screws! The vents are beautiful, well made and I'm sure I will enjoy them for years to come. This company is out to satisfy the consumer. BRAVO!!

These are great. I moved into a house that was fairly updated, but for some reason, still had the old grimy and dusty baseboard vents. I tried cleaning the old ones, but they just weren't in great shape. Luckily, Amazon has everything and I found these. I ordered 6 of them and installed them in less than a few minutes each. If the molding is cut perfectly and these fit snugly in in place, you technically don't even have to screw them in. But if they are lose or you want something much more secure, definitely screw them into the wall and or floor. Once they are in, they look and function perfectly. They are well made, even though the price is somewhat low. I'd highly recommend these.

I have an 18" vent at the top of my basement stairs that gets hit by salt all winter, every winter.I replaced the old one which was about 40 years old. Very heavy duty with this one about 4 years ago.It was very light weight but I figured that if the powdercoat was good, it would last.Honestly, I think it is just painted. Nt powdercoated. The whole thing rusted. Inside and out.When I tried to take the old one out it crumbled. Of course, that makes it easy to remove.The new one is snapped together so you first need to reach up inside and pop from the top outboard. At that point it is in two pieces and the frame is very easy to screw into place. I just used 1.5" deck screws.The cover has to be guided in from the bottom first and swung into the top.It is beautiful once it is done and since it only take about 5 minutes to install, I will likely replace it every 3 years just so I don't have to fight with the rusted out metal.

These baseboard register vents look great. They were easy to install. They replaced 40+ year old register vents that had been painted many times. These do not come with screws, so make sure you have some ready for installation. These will look even better once the paint touch up work is done along with a bead of caulk. Very happy with the purchase.

I used these to replace very old heater vent covers. They are the perfect size and work like a dream. I was even able to use a good spry paint to make the pair I put in my knotty pine sunroom a color to match. I not crazy about the type of vent covers, but unless I redo my ductwork, this is the choice I have and I'm so glad to find a nice sturdy working upgrade to the old rusty over painted ones I have.

Smart design. The grills just snap into the frame after you screw that in. Lightweight, good fit and finish. I’ve seen the reviews calling this cheap and flimsy and so on, but that’s not my experience. But a word of caution when installing - best to wear gloves. Some of the metal edges are sharp. I nicked myself. Overall, a very satisfactory inexpensive replacement. Bought 6.

Ordered this for my aunt to replace the old original vents. New ones work and look well, were very easy to install.

These style of registers sell for around 40.00 each, I was very pleased with the two I ordered. Fits great, great value.

Old ones were dirty, dinged up, and had some paint splotches from painting the walls. These were a quicker and easier solution. Depending on how tight your baseboards are you might need to trim them with a utility knife to get them to fit - they are the same as my old ones, maybe a mm wider, but look great once installed.

very correct product. be careful not to damage when opening the 2 parts because the metal is not very thick and there is a risk of deforming the plainthe. Perhaps less resistant in places of frequent passage but for the price, it is correct.

We have an older home with older registers that were plastic & was slowly falling apart. I have looked everywhere for a substitute but was unable to find until I saw these on Amazon. They are metal & replaced perfectly & look really good. I am so pleased.
