Genuine Innovations G20310, Ultraflate, Bicycle CO2 Inflator, Weight 62g, Green and Black

This product was recommended by our Therapy Dog trainer as part of their training tool to help with positive corrections. The sound of the air lets them relate to non conforming behavior during their training sessions. Only used it twice near one of the dogs and he no longer steals the towel off the oven door when he gets excited to see someone. Nice part is you don't ever aim it toward the dog because the sound of the air is enough to get their attention. Some people say it sounds like a cat hissing.

This CO2 gun is a necessity. It takes both threaded and unthreaded cartridges. I have used a hand pump MANY times and it is so nice to just click the trigger and be fully inflated in two seconds. Also - one consideration is that this threads onto a Presta valve; whereas most pumps clamp on. I have broken many valve cores with the clamp-on pump -- only to have to walk my bike back to the trailhead or bust out a second tube.I'm going to be buying a couple more -- one for each bike.

I was undecided to title this one so i went with the only complaint I had... This says it compatible with 16 & 20 Gram threaded and non-threaded CO2 cartridges. For the most part they are until you try the un-threaded 16 gram Cartridges which happened to be the type or cartridge's I had at the time). the non-threaded cartridge will fit in the canister holder without issue and work as described but the issue is there is not a space size adjuster or anything like that to allow for the difference in the height of the non-threaded cartridges.... from my understanding and reasurach the threading on the 20 16 12 and 8 gram CO2 canisters are all that same size, which may allow for the use of different canisters as long as they will screw into the discharge unit( again dont take my word on it , test for yourself as i have only ready this...) as for the missing link in the 16 Gram cartridge, I have not found away to use the non-threaded canisters, and is the reason for my 4 star rating. the information would have been better received if this was clearly stated as to the type of cartages' this form factor had the ability to function with and what would never work with. product owners need to understand if they choose to not identify all of the defaults with a product or its limited capabilities, would limit the amount of return of products that did not work as described. I ordered 2 of these and almost decided to send them both back because I had 16 non threaded canisters, I i felt that the seller tried to obfuscate the fact that their product had some limitations or defects, that any user would have been able to Identify if they were able to handle the product physically examining the purchase as you would in any brick and mortar store. I am of the school of thought where i will give the end user/purchaser more info/every available bit of info on my products so users/customers are fully informed at every strength weakened and shortcomings are known and part of their purchasing decisions. this would help in less returns for "Item Didn't work as expected" or another reason to send it back other than deficted.I hope this helps you in making your decision easier!!!

I bought a compressed air trainer for dogs. Just makes a loud hiss that distracts a dog's bad behavior. Works but at $18 for a small can of air that lasts maybe 2 days was ridiculous. This works the same, is smaller and reusable with more co2 cartridges. Plus I can inflate things with it.

First, it comes without instructions of any kind. Just a tiny picture on the back of the package. It would be nice to understand how it works before trying to use it. But that isn't my major complaint. Like the other negative reviews, I discovered that it has problems with 20 gram, non-threaded, cartridges.I loaded the free 20g cartridge that came with it and started to tighten the casing to pierce the cartridge. Just as it pierced the cartridge, the thread on the head slipped out, the head canted and the gas escaped.I also noticed that the part that holds the cartridge did not fully close against the head. So, either the 20g cartridge was too long or the inflator was too small. In either case, it didn't work properly.I was able to use it with a 16g cartridge by putting some washers in the case (someone else used nickels) and it worked.Bottom line, I would not buy this one again.

Bought this as a recommendation from a dog trainer. Very effective to stop unwanted behaviors. Hissing sound is quite loud and my dogs respect it.

Second one I've bought.This design allows the co2 cartridge to be reused multiple times. Very handy if you're trying to make it home on a slow leak

Bought this for dog training to help with the NO command. Works great! Trainer recommended.
