These Schleich animals cannot be beat. You can get a cheaper bunch of animals at the zoo gift shop or Target, but Schleich is the best you can get. These animals are highly detailed and weighty. They are worth the extra cost. These things will last for decades.My 2-year-old is rough on them, but they have stood the test. He plays with them all of the time and they have helped him learn about animals and their natural habitat.This is a great starter set. We add in animals from time to time.

Good set. The elephant is small. I guess they made it a baby elephant. It looks good quality to me. Zebra has a dot on its stripes. I can’t find the monkey..so maybe one of the reviewers is right..nobody likes the monkey so get out!

These are awesome! Perfect for animal identification and it matches our magnets! I was debating whether to get this or another brand but these are great because we can make pawprints! Perfect for tracks identification also.

I thought this set was an excellent value. The animals are all painted very well and are great quality. They should last many years to come!

My nieces and nephews LOVE "hard animals" and schleich is our family's favorite. The animals have terrific detail in their form and paint. They are solid and well-made - not cheap plastic. I love the wide variety of animals available from Schleich.

Definitely a quality item especially when compared to other farm animals on the market. These are durable and will last a long time. I would not hesitating to purchase again.

I bought this for my 1 1/2 year old nephew at Christmas and was told he loved them and plays frequently with each animal. It is very sturdy and looks like real animals.
