Keeps the tea hot
This tea cozy is both pretty and functional. The material is thin, but it still manages to keep tea hot. It looks well made, no flaws or frays. I like to take my time drinking tea, which was resulting in cold tea about half-way through a cup or pot. Now I just pour as much as I want to sip at a time.I tested the cozy with just boiling water and checked it every 10 minutes. The water stayed sufficiently hot for 1 hour and 20 minutes before noticeably cooling down. Factors that could reduce the time it stays hot would include opening the teapot lid multiple times and adding a milk or creamer. The inside bottom has a cork base which is zippered in and removable for washing.

Teapot Cozies
