Absolutely the most difficult piece of furniture I have ever assembled
This chest is attractive and seems relatively sturdy. However, the assembly process is unbelievably confusing and difficult. The first problem is they drilled holes incorrectly on one of the front trim pieces that holds the corners together. The instructions are vague with terrible black and white images. I've seen clearer bank robbery photos. Because of the poor pictures and vague instructions I did not realize they had drilled holes incorrectly until assembling and disassembling it no less than 4 times. After 3 hours, I finally figured it out. I am very good with assembling furniture like this. In fact, I have put together all of my household furniture. When I saw other complaints about difficult assembly and incorrectly drilled holes, I simply thought they were inexperienced and this would be easy for me. I WAS WRONG. I get it, It's not fine furniture. But, if I had wanted these headaches I would have purchased a $99 put together chest at Walmart. I expected much more for $340. Because of this, I would never buy this again, and I would not recommend to anyone else without a woodshop.

Not worth the money
Two of the pieces had a chip. One on the lid one on the front section. It seems like it is not wood, because u can't cover it with old english scratch cover. The front and back pieces was not marked so we couldn't tell which piece to put the end pieces on. Had to redo some of it. Instruction was for this chest. It was for a chest that had stencil on it. Not happy with paying over three hundred and get this. The reason I bought it was it said all wood and it for kids chest. They would have it beat up in a week. Not sure I can give it to my grandkid.

This might just be a china product being resold
Check out Wayfair for a product called "harriet bee queenborough espresso toy box", SKU: W001398725. Notice anything similar? Exact same photos, same options, yet cheaper. It's almost like this is being resold them as "Made in USA". Seems suspicious to me. Proceed with caution.
