Best anchor for sand/mud
Bought this to replace a danforth style anchor that kept pulling loose. Works perfectly, drop it in the water as you coast to a stop and it never moves. Pull yourself back to it and pull it straight up, comes out every time. money well spent.

This is the perfect boat anchor.
It will hold my 30 foot boat and has also held my boat plus two other boats when we were tied together.

Mechanically it works
Jury still out on this one. I may need some training using it, but I was surprised it wouldn't really hold a 26 foot boat on its own. It did work as a second transom anchor once the bow anchor was secure. Which is good so the boat doesn't swing, but I was hoping it would hold the boat on its own. So its ok but not what I expected. This could be for all box anchors. This one folds up nicely and easy to store. But it really didn't live up to its promise of holding with light winds on a lake in about 15 feet of water.
