I sure hope it lasts because it works so well. I’ve used it at least 20 times so far. It works fast and heats evenly. Im at high altitude and I find it much better to work with than my electric coil stove top.

I got an E1 error out of the box, which according to the instruction manual indicates that a component has failed. I don't feel like opening it up to replace components on a new product. I was disappointed as I had researched this product and was looking forward to using it, but will be going with a different brand for now. Not a great first impression with this brand.

Wanted to give myself some time with this thing before writing an honest review. To say it, I now have access to a full gas range, this originally was just a quick fix while running a gas line. If this plate is your only means of cooking, it's one of the better ones... Its a very quality induction plate but still suffers from the classic problems that all others do. The biggest drawback is its inability to maintain constant temperature. Without fail, it will overheat upon reaching the desired temperature. When I use this for braising, which I don't recommend, it is nearly impossible to maintain a simmer. You can turn the temperature down all the way to 140 and still have your liquid at a rapid boil. Cooking more delicate things like eggs is also difficult. Not bad for searing steaks though. It gets hot quickly and heats evenly, but stays too hot. Temperature control and retention are major problems. I really wanted to like this thing but would only recommend for boiling water.

I bought this cooktop to use as an extra warming surface in addition to my old gas stove. I like this induction cooking a lot--far quicker and electric and very clean.

Love this cool top! Are use this cooktop during my last year of college in my dorm room. Still using this without any issues.

This is such a cool cooking tool. Heats immediately. I use this daily in my little studio apt. I may just buy another.

3 month update:Reduced my rating because it started acting funny. The buttons have stopped being responsive until after unplugging and plugging back in.It does have a large footprint for a single burner. Being a plug-in device, it isn't really faster than heating water on the stovetop as a induction stovetop would be. It makes a funny whine noise when I put it on high power (the max temp). Overall, a good introduction to induction cooktops but not a permanent device in my kitchen.
