Higley Welding 39" Round Metal Steel Wood-Gas Fire Pit Campfire Ring Spark Cover.

Bought this cover in September 2018. Works great to cover my firepit and keep the elements out, and also looked great. However, by July 2019 (10 months later) the bronze hammer finish started cracking and the steel underneath started rusting. The quality of their bronze hammer finish wasn’t the best - didn’t even last a year. I contacted Higley Firepit Covers about it, hoping they’d back their product for at least a year. Instead, I got an email referring me back to the product description on Amazon where they state that they “do not warranty the paint.” So, if you’re looking for a firepit cover, don’t go with the bronze hammer finished one. Get the “no rust” stainless steel version.

High quality, exceptional service. Spend the money and avoid trashing lesser products as I did with a $180 mesh cover that allowed the pit to fill with rain water. This one has a vinyl seal and a sloped angle that pretty much eliminates all rain and snow. (Maybe a teaspoon will run underneath.) And it's heavy enough to withstand 40-50 MPH winds.

very well built, fits on a 36" firepit perfectly. edges are padded, so will not scratch the pit, as metal would, otherwise. Expensive, but absolutely would recommend, it is the best solution to keep pit dry (important if you have an electric ignition). I have gone through 3 fabric covers in past two years, and should have done this in the first place.

I'm thrilled with this purchase! We just finished our backyard patio project and put in a fire pit. I quickly realized I needed a cover for the fire place but didn't want to use a canvas cover and take away from the overall look. Although this steel cover is pricey it is very well made, I can easily remove it because of the attached handles and the cover has a liner around the rim so it does not scratch the pavers. I love the look of the cover and feel it adds to the patio instead of detracting. I feel this was a great investment and one we will be using for years.

This is exactly what I wanted for our natural gas fire pit. It is very pretty...much better than the inverted blue plastic swimming pool we were using! It is a great weight...heavy enough to not get blown off in 35 -40 mph high wind gusts, but not too heavy for me to lift. I included two pictures, one close up of the welded seam and rubber bumper. The seam does not detract from its appearance at all. I hardly notice it. The rubber bumper is nice, but I was expecting it to be more like a cushiony pad running around the underside of the edge...like weather stripping. It is really just a thin rubber strip slipped over the edge, but it is fine this way. Even though a little rain water can seep under the edges, water can’t get into gas burner which is purpose of the cover. It was shipped quickly and securely. Fabulous cover!

I got it quickly and it looks pretty nice, but one thing I was disappointed about is that there is an obvious welding line extending one entire radius. I thought this was a flaw and was ready to send it back as my memory of the photos showed a nice smooth finish all the way around, but then I looked carefully at the photos and you can barely see it maybe because of careful positioning? So I can't really say the photos lied but if I had known there was a big humped welding line right through one radius I would not have spent this much money. Live and learn.

This cover is exactly what my family needed to keep our fire pit dry when we're not using it. It's so annoying when we want to burn a fire, but need to first clean out all the wet wood and muck that is left over from a previous fire. This cover solves that problem! And because of its conical shape, all snow and rain run right off of it. It also completely covers the opening of our pit, so if we have any embers that my be still burning, it snuffs the fire right out. Highly recommend!!!

This product may seem a bit pricey, but, you get a real good quality product. The cover fits nicely on our fire pit and has kept the rain water out. It has stayed down in about 25-30 mph winds. Very pleased with the purchase.
