Dymatize Elite XT Extended Release Protein, Banana, 4 lbs

If you get this, be sure to use MORE liquid than you would traditionally with standard whey protein. I personally mix mine in water and for one scoop use 16oz, 1.5 scoops I use 20oz. Even with the added liquid, this mixture does take some extra shaking to get fully dissolved, but with the extra shaking and liquid... it blends nicely together.The flavor is a little to "nutty" in my mind, I would have loved to get more banana flavor out of it. The nutty flavor leaves a weird aftertaste that takes a bit to get used to... after your first 5 or so protein shakes of this, you get used to the flavor, and it isn't half bad.Overall though, I love the protein blend that it provides, and the taste is good, but not great. I drink these right before bed and it does not upset my stomach any. If I were to buy again, I would probably choose vanilla or chocolate.

I purchased this protein powder and it had a great flavor better than other powders I have tried. It also mixed very well in water without leaving any clumps. I was very pleased with the powder and finished it in a few weeks and ordered a second container. However the powder in the second container did not mix well at all and left clumps. The inconsistent quality was disappointing. If they all mixed well like the first batch I would probably buy again, but probably won't since I did not like the clumpy second batch which was unpleasant to drink.

It is a good flavor and mixes great. Dymatize is my brand of choice. I like all their flavors. It is a quality product, good results. I used to by it at the Vitamin Shoppe for $28 for the for 1.8 lbs. Obviously this is a much, much better value. Butter Cream Toffee, Cafe Mocha, and Cinnamon Bun are my favorite Dymatize flavors, but I don't find the XT formula. Too bad.

Everybody's tastebuds are different but I really like the taste. The product is a little chalky, but this does not bother me. I've found that if I let the milk absorb into the powder after I shake it up in the mixer for awhile, and mix it again, its not chalky. I spent quite a bit of time looking at the servings vs protein content (53 servings at 21g of protein), and even though the protein content is a little low I just double it and it is still the best value I've seen. All in all, great product!

By far the best I have used. The banana nut flavor is amazing. I mix mine before I work out and put it in the refrigerator. It thickens up during this time and there is no trace of chalkiness at all. I am an amateur bodybuilder who is very particular about what I put in my body. This stuff is top notch, not only for the price, but just flat out top notch in general. I have found no other product which delivers all that this does, not even at twice the price.

Easily digestible. Mixes well. I love the banana flavor and mixing it with a chocolate flavored protein is fantastic. Protein profile is smart and this works well to give you immediate satisfaction (for recovery or hunger) along with a sustained release that helps keep you satiated for a couple hours. Having used dozens of different brands over the years, this is one of my current favorites. Not only is the taste there but you can feel that it's actually working and it never bogs you down.

This is the best tasting protein I have tried, but I like the taste of bananas. (Still can't see the word "bananas" without spelling it rhythmically. Damn you Gwen Stafani) I think it goes without saying, but I'll say it here anyways. If you don't like bananas DO NOTt buy this. If you like banana taste and are in the market for a great protein, then look no further. Seriously, hit the add to cart button. DO IT, DO IT!

One of their best flavors, first time ordering from Amazon. Came in on time and safety seals were in tact. I wasn't sure about getting this or the fusion 7 but I went with Elite xt since the primary difference I saw was the added fiber in the fusion 7. Which is a nice plus but I prefer fiber from food and by including it in fusion 7 it reduced the number of servings compared to elite xt. Trying to get the best bang for my buck here.
