Acer Aspire Desktop, 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700, 8GB DDR4, 1TB HDD, Windows 10 Home, TC-780-UR11

I bought this PC a few weeks ago, replaced the onboard video with a Nvidia GTX 1050 TI card and it's running great. I wasn't interested in any software that may have come with the Acre so I wiped the drive and installed my own copy of Windows 10 from the get-go. I've had zero issues, the PC runs silent which is nice, yet I did add an ARCTIC F9 PWM Rev. 2 Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan ($7) to the back of the case for a little better air flow. I normally build my own PC's but I've simply been too busy and for the price, the Acre felt like a good deal.Update (01.24.18)A couple weeks ago I installed an M.2 (Crucial MX300 525GB SATA M.2 (2280) Internal Solid State Drive - CT525MX300SSD4) in my tower and it's working fantastic. I did a clean install of the OS on the M.2 and wiped the 2TB drive after backing up my important files. The PC now reboots in 15 or so seconds and I couldn't be happier with it. I guess I could be happier if only the 2TB M.2 weren't so expensive but they'll come down in price at some point.

It's a great workhorse. Great computer for the price. The only thing I recommend is to make sure it is plugged into your hardwired network connection BEFORE you turn it on. We've had this issue on several occasions. As Acer explained it to me...their PCs are set up so that the first time they are turned on, they connect to the licensing server and download the licensing information. If it doesn't see your network connection, it will come up and say that your copy of Windows is not valid and it will refuse to activate it unless you call Acer. There have been several times when we connect a new one wirelessly and it still doesn't get the licensing information correctly. Seems to work ok if the computer is hardwired into the network.

So far, so good. See picture of back of CPU - it has one HDMI output and one VGA output. I knew what I was ordering and anticipated this, but will say that for a PC this new and in this price range, two HDMIs would be most ideal. After a little under a month of use, I can say that there was a lot of Acer branded bloatware (-1 star), but speed is good. Definitely recommend!

Purchased for wife. For her use the CPU/ internal graphics were fine.However the motherboard was a stripped down model and only had 2 connections for hard drives, SSDs and CD player. So no way to connect her SSD with all her data on it. Had to purchase additional equipment to even transfer data from her old SSD. The information included even on the Acer site is minimal for this computer and doesn't include even the basic info on the motherboard, much less the stripped down BIOS.Also, the case has no physical room to insert even 1 additional SSD, much less a HD.

Love this Acer computer. I did a fresh windows 10 install to get rid of the bloatware and it is clean as a whistle now. I use it primarily for photo editing and needed the increased performance of the i7 and the added RAM. There are faster computers out there but I am very happy with the stability of this product and the performance for the price. I have been very pleased with acer computers. This is my third and I would gladly purchase another as need arises.

If you take your time with this computer, it is amazing.It is a well put together PC with great parts. Given enough thought and planning, this is a beast in the making.If you build this computer together with equivalent parts, it would be cheaper. But for others that have very little experience with PC's, the warranty and support from ACER is more than worth the difference.I added the following to this computer and it has become an excellent gaming PC:-92mm Case Fan-600 watt power supply-500gb M.2 SSD-EVGA GTX 1070

GREAT TOOL BUT SOME WHAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT. TOO MANY FUNCTIONS, BUT I SUPPOSE THAT'S THE TREND OF THE FUTURE.I ENJOY A GOOD PROBLEM BUT I FIND I HAVE TO PAY FOR A PC SPECIALIST FOR TOO MUCH HELP. THE KEYBOARD LEAVES TOO MUCH TO BE WANTED. HAVE TO PROP ITS BASE UP TO LEVEL IT WELL ENOUGH SO IT WONT WAGGLE TOO MUCH. HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER AND THAT DON'T MAKE ME FEEL HAPPY. I JUST ORDERED A BETTER KEYBOARD FROM AMAZON TO CURE THE SITUATION...I WOULD LOVE SOME CONSIDERATION ON THAT PURCHASE...

I have had this PC for a couple of months now and it is a very good PC. The start up speed is very fast and the set up is easy. It has a lot of storage in which I can play games and the computer is still fast. Even though it isn’t as good looking as current PC, it is a very good PC for its price . Overall I have a very good experience with this Acer PC.

Me encanta! Me dedico al diseño y me viene de maravilla el rendimiento de maquina, no se traba y abre muy rápido las aplicaciones; de tamaño la siento un poco grande porque tenía años con una lap pero fuera de eso es perfecta.

El cpu no enciende. Solo hace lo que está en el video
