How do you set the time on the watch

Push in the smaller silver button on the side with a pen or a pin and press the larger silver button to change the numbers to the right time

Is it water resistant?

It is not, also broke coming out of the box. My husband was able to repair it for our granddaughter. I bought it too long ago to return it or I would have.
