Great book on a guide to shipping container homes. For an easy and inexpensive way for making a home, this is it. It contains every piece of information you need to know on Shipping container homes. This is a very well-written and comprehensive book which teaches you pretty much everything you need to know about buying a shipping container and transforming it into a house: where to find one, the permits and documents that you need, how to design it, and much more. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of minimalist architecture and intends to embark on a minimalist lifestyle!

Wish I still had the $9 I spent on this book. It's extremely elementary (read it cover to cover in about an hour). It's also very repetitive, which is not good for such a short book. Google searches are more informative and less expensive.

75 pages of mostly simple basic information that anybody would already know if they were even thinking about making a container home. Little specific detail on foundation, engineering, design, structure or anything else. A real waist of money.

This book provides lots of valuable information. The only thing I would change about it is the excessive use of exclamation marks throughout the text which makes feel as though the information is being shouted at me. I had to go through and mark out the punctuation in order to read the book in a calm manner.

I believe this is one of the best books that I have read on this subject. As a former carpenter / framer, this book covered a great deal of the requirements in getting permits, as well as the steps in the processes of the build. This is, what I believe, a must read book for any person or group desiring to build a container home short of hiring an architect and contractor to do everything for them.

Bought for my husband as he’d mentioned it so thought I’d purchase this for him. He was really chuffed but said that it could have been a lot more detailed. There isn’t that much around on this subject and an obvious niche for an expert to do well!

Very disappointed, one of the worst books I've ever purchased. 76 pages of utter dross that I could have found anywhere on the internet. Black and white pictures (6 in total) A real rip off at £20.
