Can I remove the divider on the large size?

Hi- the divider is in the liner. To remove it would need to cut it out. The hamper itself doesn’t have a middle divider.

I need to fit this into a space of 11.5 inches. Could this be squeezed to do so?

The laundry hamper couldn't be squeezed.

is the top removable?

The top can be lifted up and down.

Is the divider also removable?

There is no divider...there are 2 liner bags so you can put one in after you remove the one inside to carry for laundering. That way there’s always a liner inside the hamper. It’s a very nice hamper and I’m very pleased.

Well made and attractive

This hamper is well made, sturdy and attractive. It came with two liners that are divided so you can separate your colors from whites. You can keep the extra one in the hamper under the one currently being used and always have a clean one. You can also use the hamper without the liner if you prefer. I absolutely love that no assembly was required. Simply unfold it and it is ready to be used.
