Updated: capsules work! Half do not taste good, though
I really, really wanted these to be awesome. I'm a Starbucks app-using, Starbucks coffee bean-buying, person who looks forward to the holiday red cups. So, when I saw these, of course I had to try them, and here's the thing: when they worked, they were good but over a fourth of them did not work. The sizing is just a little bit off and the capsule doesn't quite fit correctly into the machine. Not all of the capsules -- for me, all of the Guatamalan capsules, half of the espresso, and some of the Kenyan and Colombian capsules did not work.I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but I haven't had a single problem with Nespresso capsules--just the Starbucks ones. So, what happens? When I put the Starbucks capsule in, when the machine pressurizes, it actually opens up, releasing steam. It's scary, potentially dangerous, and the cup fills with about a half a shot of espresso and grounds so the capsule is completely wasted. This has happened over and over and over again. I'm not sure whether it's my machine (the Inissia) or whether these would fare better in another machine, but I do know that, sadly enough, these are not for me.That said: when the capsules do work, the coffee is great. It's better than what you get at Starbucks. It's just that too many of these capsules do not work, and when they don't work, it is dangerous. The amount of capsules that do not work makes purchasing Nespresso capsules more cost effective.Still, if you really love Starbucks, and it's worth a little more expense-wise (and you're not afraid of your machine opening while under pressure), these could fit the bill for you.Edited:After a few more trial and errors, the capsules have been fitting into my machine well! You really have to press the lever down because for some reason it takes a little more oomph to get it to latch than the nespresso capsules. That said, sadly, even with the capsules working well, I can't recommend them highly. The Guatamalan capsules and the espresso capsules do not taste good -- they seem to have either a chemical taste or a burnt taste. They really taste awful. The Colombian capsules were excellent and the Kenyan ones were okay.I'd recommend skipping the variety pack and going for the Colombian ones.

Tastes good, but the poorly-designed capsule may damage your Nespresso machine
I like all the capsule flavors in the Starbucks variety pack: they faithfully reproduce the flavors you experience when you are in a Starbucks café.Sadly, the capsules themselves are made by a third party, and do not faithfully reproduce the design of an authentic Nespresso capsule. My Nespresso machine will barely close over a Starbucks capsule: I have to use so much force to get the machine to close that I fear that the clamping mechanism would break if I tried to use Starbucks capsules in my Nespresso machine on a regular basis. So, I will not buy these Starbucks capsules again.I've attached photos that show a Starbucks capsule on the left and an authentic Nespresso capsule on the right. You can see that the designs are quite different. Did anybody from Starbucks make this comparison before choosing their third-party capsule design? It's hard to believe that a big corporation like Starbucks would choose a capsule design that differs so greatly from an authentic Nespresso capsule, especially considering that in May 2018 Starbucks and Nestlé announced a "global coffee alliance" to (among other goals) enable the "Starbucks brand portfolio to be represented on Nestlé’s single serve capsule systems, including Nespresso". Do these ill-fitting capsules demonstrate how Starbucks wants to be represented on Nespresso machines? Also, it's disappointing that a corporation like Starbucks, which claims to be environmentally aware, released these capsules without offering a capsule recycling program like the one that Nespresso provides to their customers.Starbucks did a good job developing the flavors of these capsules, but didn't address the other issues that stand in the way of making Starbucks capsules a satisfying experience for their customers.

Not Starbucks brand
Beware! These are not official Starbucks Nespresso pods, I just realized this because nestle announced that they would be releasing new coffees from Starbucks for Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto systems, when I saw the images I realized they didn’t look like the ones I have, so I began to read the whole package and realized these are not from Starbucks. I honestly don’t trust this brand, and who knows if this is actually Starbucks Coffee.

Dissapointed...
i expected a lot more that what i got. these capsules are weak with not much flavor. DOES NOT FOAM UP like Nesspresso brand. i thought id try some NON Nespresso brands for fun and lower cost and this was one of them. after this & Gourmesso...I'm done trying other brands. i will pay the higher price and at least get a hardy cup of coffee.

Great Starbucks taste but pod might damage your machine
AVOID! FALSE ADVERTISING! These pods made me mad because using them made my machine malfunction. The other reviewers who note that these capsules don't really fit your machine are correct. You have to maneuver to get them in, then they might alter or damage the previously perfectly functioning Nespresso machine you invested in. AVOID! Just buy Starbucks bag of Espresso and place into a stainless steel self-fill pod that actually fits your Nespresso. Or prepare to send in your machine for repair.

Pieces of foil in your coffee
Coffee itself is fine. Capsules however are made out of cheap, weak material, that doesn’t withstand the pressure in the machine. As a result you will find pieces of foil in your coffee. Also capsules leak in the tray and leave coffee residue inside the machine. I never had that problem with original nespresso capsules, tray was always dry and clean This product should be recalled. Given that it is every bit as expensive as Original Nespresso capsules, choice is clear. Don’t by this crap, if you don’t want to end up in a hospital.

Starbucks Nespreso pods a hit!
I cannot understand why these pods packed by Starbucks for Nespresso machines are not available in Starbucks stores, at least in Canada. Every manager I have spoken to looks blank when I bring up their existence. Thank goodness Amazon has them, albeit only in the sampler form. We believe that these pods produce better espresso than do Nespresso pods at a cost that is only modestly more per pod. It is true that they do not fit the Nespresso machines (Original Line only, by the way) perfectly, but they do go in and once in you are away to a perfect espresso with guaranteed crema..

Tastes like Starbucks.
Big surprise, right, but I definitely had my doubts when I bought these. The coffee tastes fresh and has excellent consistency and crema. Most Nespresso capsule knockoffs are terrible, but these seem to create similar results to the originals. They have an interesting looking capsule that yields very good results. Price is similar to nespresso capsules. I'd recommend these as it's nice to have a change.

Not quite as good as the actual Nespresso capsules
Not quite as good as the actual Nespresso capsules. Works well in the machine, but would be worth it only if it were cheaper than Nespresso - and it's not.

Super Fast Delivery!
Received only 2 days after ordering, which was great! These got stuck in my Nespresso machine due to being crushed by the pressure of the machine as they brew. The pods are plastic with foil at the top and bottom. One of the four packages was expired past the due date. The flavor is good, better than most non-Nespresso brand pods I've tried.

Great Taste but.....
The coffee tastes great but need to use 2 of the pods vs 1 of nespresso due to it not draining perfectly
