When did Skechers get it all wrong?
First off let me state I walk at least 5 miles a night so I was looking for comfortable shoe. I was VERY disappointed with this shoe. Skechers missed the mark. I have owned this type of sketchers before and loved them. The first problem with this shoe is that it is not foam but an air pocket heal resting under a very hard plastic mid-base with a poorly padded insole. I could feel the impact of my step all the way up to my knees. Second, the toe box of the shoe is significantly more narrow than the rest of tis shoe. Unless you have tiny toes, this shoe hurts to wear these for long priods of time. I have even tried to break them in but after 15 miles of use I gave up due to bad blisters and leg and knee pain. I would have replaced the insole but there was not enough room for my toes if I were to do that. (For the record this seller was very good. Got the shes to me very quickly and smoothly.)

I lost a toenail
Very disappointed with this Shape-Up. The shoes are WAY too narrow. It kept squeezing my toes making it harder to walk. I did loosen up the shoe strings but it didn't help much. I lost my middle toe's nail because it kept was shifting back & forth, it cracked on the side & opened like a car door. Luckily there was no blood but my baby toes & it's nail were left bruised & irritated. If you're a diabetic these are not the shoes for you because it cuts your blood circulations. Another problem I have is that the design was made poorly, when it rains & water would get in it will make continuously squishy sounds. I tried throwing it in the dryer for a spin but the squish sounds didn't go away. I think it's the air that's making the squishy sounds. I'm donating them to Goodwill after just purchasing it for a few months. Maybe it would fit someone better & they won't mind the squishy sounds.

Silver Sparkly Shape-Ups Suprise!
I'm actually very surprised to be writing this review after my initial disappointment with the fit of these when I purchased them 4 months ago for a major steal of less than $25! I've been wearing Shape-Ups for over 6 yrs now & they are virtually the only shoes I am able to wear for my back & knee pain combined w needing arch support/bunion relief. Unfortunately its becoming more & more difficult to find Shape-Ups at all, & I've been very distressed that the styles I love & need for the 10 hrs a day on my feet (6-9 miles daily as well!) have all been discontinued! I found these f or a huge bargain of $24 & ordered them for more fun than for daily use-generally I don't go around wearing silver & turquoise but tend to wear black/navy sneakers that match everything & these are totally obnoxiou & I thought they were great! Bummed out that they were kinda tight when I got them, tried wearing them for work 3-4 times but had to swap shoes after couple hours & of course, couldn't return them. Attempted to stretch them out stuffing paper in them & rolling them in a towel & then whacking them around the toe box area to try to soften them up so they might stretch, didn't help much. Sat on the shelf until this week when I couldn't stand my worn out Shape-Ups & threw these on w thin socks, took spare shoes with & crossed my fingers....happy to say, for some reason these funny things decided to break in all the sudden when I needed them the most, & although still a bit tight along 1 inside of the right foot they fit pretty ok!!! My 18 yr old daughter thinks they're hideous, which is exactly why I got them to begin with, but they make me laugh & my feet & back feel alright- which is the most important thing! Sketchers, once again your Shape-Ups make it possible to get through the day!!

Great shoe that runs narrower/smaller than other Shape-ups
Skechers Shape-Ups had me at the Black Hydro XW (for Extended Wear, not extra-wide like I thought...). With knee and lower back issues AND bunions (on a size 5.5 foot), it's very difficult to find comfortable shoes that don't bind and pinch. Skechers Shape-ups did it for me! The day the Hydros were delivered, I put them on, went into the city and walked... for hours. No lower back pain, no knee pain, and NO foot fatigue, pain, pressure, or pinching! Criss-cross Z-straps with Velcro closure (albeit, you have to be into Velcro). They do give the glutes and hamstrings a workout too--secondary benefits to having a comfortable shoe I can stand or walk in for extended time.Completely motivated, I purchased 2 more pair (Hyper Blast Mary Janes, in pewter/gray and toffee/brown.) Ahhhhh! More heavenly comfort! I was quickly becoming a Shape-Ups fanatic. First time in years that I'm not compelled to kick off my shoes the first chance I get. I pretty much live in them now.So I thought it was a no-brainer to purchase the Shape-Up SRT Kinetix Response sneaker for athletic cross-training shoes. I wanted to like these so much! I was looking forward to longer, more productive workouts at the gym. Thanks to other astute reviewers, I purchased a half-size larger. When I first put them on, they were different from the other Shape-Ups. Even at 1/2 size larger, they were still binding across the toe box (although they fit lengthwise). I walked around the house with them trying to break them in (which I didn't have to do for the other Shape-Ups). This style definitely improved the side-to-side stability while keeping the marshmallow-comfy sole. But after an afternoon, my bunions were red and swollen and my big toe was numb. Alas, not a comfy shoe for the gym after all, and I returned them.If you do not have bunion issues or wide feet, I think these Shape-Ups are great cross-trainers for the gym. Their comfortable rocker sole will both prolong your workout and increase the intensity. The roll bridge and Advanced Stabilization insole provides great lateral stability and support.I remain a staunch fan of Shape-Ups, and holding out hope for the SRT Kinetix in a wider width. But the quest for comfy, supportive cross-trainers continues. (Meanwhile, it's beach season... and I'm eyeing a pair of Shape-Ups X-Wear sandals...)

Sketchers.
These are a very good quality trainer that are so comfortable to wear, they look smart they are made well, the price is reasonable for the type of trainer.I was recommended these trainers as i have a heel problem and have some pain on walking,it was so nice to have these for a week and feel the pain starting to go,to walk pain free is great.Black in colour with matching laces easy clean to keep looking smart, they do help to make you stand better and helps to improve posture, when walking you can feel that the shoe is working your muscles so may improve the muscle structure.Great trainer at a decent price would recommend if you have a heel problem.

wow
I have just completed my first Body Pump class wearing the trainers, absolutely fantastic. I have had two knee ops and a problem with one foot. These trainers reduced the impact on my knees but I could feel my butt. gluts and calves working. Wore them right through a Body Combat class too, I will have to improve my technique but still the best trainers I have ever worn. Thanks so much for the dvd, I have been wearing shape ups for sometime as all day wear but it was the dvd that persuaded me I could wear them for classes. My sister who has never exercised in her life wears shape ups on my recommendation and finds them extremely comfortable. We are both pensioners. My other half wants some.

skechers response sneakers
Very comfortable trainers. Like walking on air. I always wear Skechers boots as well. However while the boots come up too big, these came up slightly small for my regular size. I wanted to exchange them but when I attempted to download the return form It wasn't there. This was annoying. I sent an email but had no reply! In the end my daughter found they fit her perfectly so I gave them to her. It's difficult to get a size 6 and a half in black in these.

Feels good
Having had MBT trainers before i'd say these are a close second for me. My MBT were a little more comfortable for my high arches and slightly wider than average feet. These are a little narrow on the toes for me but other than that they are pretty comfortable and because i have mobility problems i can feel the benefit in my muscles when i can walk a little. Also on a less practical note - i love the colour.

Super Unusual
When you have been use to regular flat shoes and trainers these took a little time to get use to. However I bought these due to having a painful foot at the time and needed some extra support and comfort when walking 30mins from a train to work. These were great. They fitted perfectly and gave me an added spring in my step.

Really comfi!
I bought these online as seemed to be a good price and have seen a friend wear Skechers.I ordered half a size bigger as I have wider feet and I think I made the right decision as really comfortable. I have worn them for badminton as well as walking - and although it takes getting used to the shape of the trainers, they feel more comfortable than my normal trainers because of the cushioning. Will be ordering another pair soon!

Very Good product
It had been for me a feet saver! I used to have lots of pain and now I can walk much easier. The only thing is the size measurement, I had bought the same measurement and all the sizes are different; the last one even was the same measurement was to big! In some model I had to go a half size smaller and in other 1 half size smaller! They run big!

Convinced!
these were not my first choice in colour but I didn't want white so I opted for these instead, black and pink. I am a size 5 and these are 5.5 so I thought that I might have made a mistake initially but I was wrong. They are extremely comfortable and I have worn on strenuous walks as I do not stroll but power walk. Very happy with this purchase, would definitely buy again.

Skechers Women's Kinetix Response Sneaker
Excellent trainer. Cheaper than my local outlet shop. I now have four pairs of Sketcher trainers, all different kinds and I would recommend them to anyone who does a lot of walking, running, training.

Comfortable
I bought these for my walk to and from the station to work. I have worn them around the house and to go shopping just to wear them in and test them out and they are very comfortable. I didn't find them at all difficult to get used to.

I really love these trainers, they are so comfortable I could wear them all day. You can feel them working on your muscles in your legs, but once you get used to them they're great.
