Product Review and Size Help
I had to write a review because when I was purchasing this, the sizing help that I was looking for on the reviews section was misguided.First, I measured my chest at around 38-39. Some reviews said to get medium for tighter fit but the manufacturer suggests to go a size up if on the higher end of the sizing chart which contradicted the reviews. I went with a size Large as per the size chart and manufacturer recommendation. GOOD choice and let me tell you why. First, this support brace is not suppose to be tight. I was able to adjust this support brace to be skin digging tight, which certainly pulled my shoulders back but it hurt continuously. This device is not a torture device, it's for support. Meaning if you pull your shoulders forward (incorrect posture) it will be uncomfortable which triggers a reminder to pull your shoulder back. By adjusting too tight, your not even allowing your shoulders to move forward which will lead to further complications. And final reason why to go with what the manufacturer suggest is because if you go with a smaller size, I am sure it will fit. If I went with a medium, I have no doubt it will fit BUT putting it on will be difficult (like many reviews here advise) and that is incorrect. It will be difficult because the straps are smaller and will be on your back (like the manufacture picture on Amazon) which your hands can't reach. The directions specifically say "pull the strap from under your armpit", if you went with a size smaller then this would not be possible.Hint for easy on/off: Put this device on from your chest, and adjust straps LOOSELY. Then take off, put on the correct way. Then take straps from under armpit, and pull to comfortable fit.As for product review, the straps are very comfortable. I would describe it as plush feeling. It certainly helps align proper posture. I bought is device because of trapezius tension and posture support. It helps with posture and as for tension relief, it feels great. Stretching out my muscles for sure.Cheers.

Fabulous feeling in a couple days.
Okay, this is amazing. 4 stars because I got it only 2 full days ago. I have been in PT for my neck and shoulder for 2 months and I was doing better, but as soon as I sit down, try to read or work on the computer, everything hurt.So I got it Thursday afternoon, wore it for about 4 hours. The next day my lower ribs hurt, as from exercise. I am not sure if this was the reason, but I wore it almost all day on Friday. I went for a 2 mile walk with it on and it was comfortable. My back did not slump and I did not hurt, I am 63 years old and have been seeing myself in pictures with stooped shoulders. Not a pretty sight and obviously uncomfortable, but it is so hard to remember to sit tall all the time.I even have a sand filled one pound hand weight that I slipped vertically between the top of my neck and it sat on the ring. I sat with the extra support for about 4 hours on Saturday evening. This morning, I wake up with no rib pain, and I do my regular exercises (to keep me from getting stiff). I go to a ladies luncheon without the brace, of course, it is a little bulky under clothes and I did not want everyone to see it. Anyway, the first person to greet me at the door mentions that I am standing at military attention. Really, an old person like me. So after the luncheon, I went home and told my spouse, he said, yes, you do look straight now. I guess all the exercise and therapy helped to condition my muscles, but this thing really is making the difference in my posture. I wore it all afternoon, again on a two mile walk, and into this evening until I got tired. I will continue to use it as much as I can, need to. I feel better already and look better, but old habits come back so I will keep using it.As others have said it is soft and does not grab under the arms much. I have no problem getting it on. I had my spouse help set it up the first evening. Now I just leave it in the position and slip it on and off. I do not have it cinched so tight that it digs into my armpits, but it does help to encourage holding the shoulders back and the back straight. With my therapy, and core exercises that I have been doing, I may be in good enough shape not to feel uncomfortable, but just a week ago, my doctor was saying that I might have fibromyalgia. I am/was convinced that my neck and shoulder pain was due to stooped posture. We will see in the long run. Also, one thing, this fabric contains polyester and other synthetic fibers. I am allergic to any polyester fitted tightly around my body so I wear a cotton tee-shirt under it when I wear it.That is one of the reasons that I would not wear it out, but I think it would be able to fit under the right clothing and not be too noticeable to wear to work at a desk all day. Even if it is noticed, your health and posture are important.I would give it a five but I don't know how long it will hold up to my use.

Compare 3 braces
This review compares 3 different clavicular braces. Each one has strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully the review will help you decide the best one for your needs.I am older 6ft male weighing 160lb with a broken clavicle. I was instructed by my orthopedist to wear the brace full time to get proper healing of the clavicle by limiting movement at the broken bone ends. I have a ‘standard’ fracture where the bone is broken in the middle. Here is the experience I had with each brace.Deluxe Clavicle Support $22.50. The most expensive of the three, very comfortable to wear. A good support when sleeping or doing moderate activity. However it is a bit spongy and may let you have more range of motion than you should if you are trying to brace a broken clavicle. You can wear this next to your skin. The biggest down side is that you can NOT get in it or adjust it by yourself. You need a close companion to make this one work. 3 starsClavicle brace by Breg. $15.99 Well-constructed, well-padded and a solid support. You can put it on and adjust it by yourself. However there is a lot of pressure on the spine where the straps loop and it was so irritating that I could not wear it. 2 starBack Pain Clavicle Support $13.99. Well designed, good support, easily adjusted and no pressure point on the back. You CAN get in this brace by yourself and it adjusts easily. The padding is a bit thin on the edges so it is irritating on the skin, but if you wear it over an undergarment, it works just fine. It only comes in a large, so a smaller framed person might have some problems getting the tight fit needed for support. (Don’t know why they don’t have it in a smaller size) This is the one I use 4 stars.
