VEGAS Movie Studio 14 Platinum - Perfect support for creative video editing

I've used Sony Movie Studio Platinum version 12, and to a point this is very similar. The only difference is learning the new features. So, I could comprehend the software program pretty well. For those completely new to Vegas Movie Studio 14 Platinum, its not a difficult program to learn. If anyone has a question about it, I'd be glad to answer. I may even make a few video tutorials and put them on Youtube for people to see. Lastly, for anyone who really wants to get creative with their movie projects, but don't wish to pay an arm and a leg for expensive editing software, this platform is really good for the purchase. I'm glad I made the upgrade from Sony Movie Studio Platinum version 12 (now I can play around with version 14)!

So far - an excellent product. I have only scratched the surface of it's capabilities. Plenty of tutorials out there to help you get started and editing videos. I have used this program so far in editing Dash Cam videos, Video Camera videos, Converted VHS films and single JPG photos. This company knows what they are doing in the software field. Have not had to utilize their Tech Support yet so can't comment on this service. An excellent entry level video editing software tool. Highly recommend it.

This is a good and easy to use program. Version 12 has a better layout and a color scheme that is easier on the eyes. This one was bought to view all four cameras at the same time for more accurate editing choices. However, this feature was not included after all. Vegas is a very easy program to work with - it crashes each time I hold the mouse on an instruction too long - so back up after every few changes. Also, for some reason they took out the 'speed key' commands of earlier versions like <cntr,A> for 'save as' and <cntr,R> for 'render as' etc . . . this really makes the program more awkward to use since the mouse slows file commands down. I recommend it but if you are a beginner with Vegas get an earlier version to speed your work along.

It downloads a lot of PDF manual files (that don't say anything about installation) and an execute that opens a screen to log on to their webpage. No editing program is loaded to the PC, but the installation did throw up an error box in a virgin installation of Windows 10.The instructions promise a download from the website, if needed, but it appears this version is no longer supported, because I couldn't find it there. They do have other programs to sell you.I feel like they took my money for something that doesn't install in the operating system, Windows 10, which it suppose to run in.I will not buy from them again.

This product is fun to use and is a good software for simple editing BUT! I lost the little paper that gave me the codes to be able to download it so now I can't transfer it to my other PC! Please help me.

Easy to learn, many features. I specially loved zooming and panning on a Sony 4K video. This became extremely helpful when editing. I was able to zoom in and pan around the cropped image, save the project, then come back and edit the position of the zoomed in image, to exactly match other parts of the video I had edited this way.Minus 1 star because it keeps showing a popup asking if I want to upgrade to Vegas 15, even after clicking the "do not show this again". I guess it deserves minus half star for this but that's not a thing here.

This did a great job allowing me to collect a large group of videos from different formats. I ran into issues when I tried to export a movie that was over an hour.

I use it for my film making. A lot!
