There is a running change. The old color was blue and green. When we run out of that color it becomes yellow and black.

Is the bed of the truck large enough to fill with fruit as a party centerpiece?

Yes. Be sure to wipe dry before putting it away as it rusts. Mine was in the patio and has rusty water where the metal is. But it would be cute for your purpose.

I gave this as a gift and the little boy absolutely loved it. However, because it is quite large, it does not float.
