This guard protects the brake pivot as well as the rear master cylinder and it is priced better that lesser products. Happy with fit finish and build quality, I highly recommend it.

Good product
Easy and quick to install. Good added armor for your KLR. Wish this came in black, but nothing a can of spray paint won’t fix.

Covers more of the brake parts than just the Master cylinder. More than the other guards I looked at.
Not as heavy duty as other I have seen but it covers more of the brake assembly including the hose and linkage assembly. Easy installation. Metal is a stamped metal not a billet cut item, so it could bend on a high impact. However it has protected very well to this point It has preformed well so far with off road excursions. Fits well, finish is lacking
It does it's job.... the finish was very rough, lines are visible from where the metal was pressed. If you dont paint the guard it will be very noticeable. It fit well and went on with no problems.... I'd recommend it to others. 3 stars for the poor finish
