Timber Ridge 6 Person Instant Cabin Tent, Waterproof Windproof Tents for Camping with Rainfly, Easy Setup Big Tent for family for 4 Season

Got this after another 6 man easy-up of mine finally died. Arrived quickly to take on a camping trip we had planned. I usually test my tents before a trip, but decided to try this one in the field.Easy-Up as usual - setup with 2 people took about 10 min, would probably take 15 with 1 person. No obvious manufacturing flaws of any kind. Staked out fly, as we were supposed to get showers.Interior is REALLY roomy. I'm 5'9", wife is 6', neither of us has to stoop in the tent. Large enough to put a queen sized Coleman cot, all of our gear, and still have room to move.Rain hit a bit harder than just showers, and wind kicked up a bit. With the windows and doors closed, there was absolutely no leakage at all. Dry as a bone, even though the ground outside had standing water by the time the storm was done. After that, we opened the screens, and airflow was perfect.Breakdown, as expected, took about 15 min. Repacked, the size of the tent is relatively unobtrusive for its size.Have taken it camping 3 times now, and it's holding up great. Definitely recommend.[update] Have owned this for a year and a half now, taken on more than 10 camping trips. This tent is a keeper. No issues at all. Had one small tear happen near the front door, which was easily patched. Other than that, outstanding tent for this price point.

I love this tent! I bought it in May 2022 and have taken it on at least 5 trips this summer. The first one being on the Olympic Peninsula where it rained the entire time! The rainfly was excellent and while the walls were wet to the touch with condensation (it was 89% humidity), water never leaked in or formed a puddle.I also took it on a trip out near Lake Chelan way up on a mountain where it was crazy windy. This tent withstood the deafening wind that roared all night!Not to mention the fact that I can have it set up in 5 min and taken down in 5 min. I camp in this thing by myself with my dog and I love the space and privacy it gives me when camping near/with others.I consider this tent a great investment! I would buy it again! The door zippers do get finicky but I feel like that is all tents.

Overall this has been a great tent for the five camping trips we have been on with it.Pros:1) The waterproofing is great. We went through a fairly robust rainstorm and it did great. The tub style bottom really helps as you don't have to worry about a seam at ground level letting water in.2) It is very easy to set up and take down, especially for a large tents. Our last large tent was a complicated mess. This tent takes all of five minutes to set up.3) I've only taken it on five trips, but it feels very sturdy.4) It can definitely fit six adults. Although not with gear. With a family of five we fit in comfortably with gear as well. It is also great that we can stand up comfortably in all areas of the tent without stooping.Cons:1) The door snags on the zipper cover on the door more often than other tents. Really annoying for middle of the night bathroom runs. Could use a stiffer material there to prevent the catching.2) The stakes are flimsy. Definitely would want more hardy stakes in case of a windstorm.

Man, after reading some of the reviews of this tent, I was worried about the quality of what I had purchased to say the least. My biggest concerns from some of the other reviews were the issues people talked about with the zipper, and others mentioning the thinness of the tent flooring. After setting up this weekend, here are my observations:1). I don't know why people have such a hard time with the zipper. Sure, you have to be careful not to snag it on other parts of the tent, but I feel like that would be the case with any tent. The quality of the zipper was good and it was very easy to zip up/down as long as you pulled the other tent fabric away from the zipper when doing so! Put another way, if I hadn't read reviews trashing the zipper, the quality of it wouldn't have even passed my mind.2). The flooring for the tent also seemed fine, no different than any other tent I've been in before. It didn't appear to be thin as others had suggested and I feel that as long as you are careful with setting up and taking the tent down that the floor should last awhile!It didn't rain this weekend, so unfortunately I can't comment on the waterproof aspect of the tent (if I notice it's an issue I'll update this review). Overall, I would recommend this tent. It was easy to put up and take down and literally took only a couple minutes for each. Getting the tent in the bag is definitely a pain, but I wouldn't let that persuade you from buying it. The tent seemed very sturdy and I loved the fact that I could stand up in it (I'm 6 foot) with room to spare. I think the tent could easily fit 4 people with extra room for backpacks, etc. The vents at the top are also cool at night as you can literally see the sky on a clear night. If I could improve the tent, I would make it more sunlight proof in the morning, and I would also provide a slightly larger storage bag, but aside from that this tent gets 5 stars in my book!

Tent went up super easy and fast, took two of us just a few minutes to put up and just as easy to take down but either of us could have done it by ourselves. Spacious tent with excellent standing room, my guy thats 6ft tall finally has plenty of room to stand up straight in plus more than enough room for a queen size mattress. We just had a short time of really light rain, however, I would trust it to hold up well in heavier rain(I returned other tents that felt inferior quality that would not). Very good quality, floor is thick tarp material. I did get a medium size floor mat that is fleece on one side so that made it very comfortable to walk and stand on inside the tent with no shoes on. The storage bag is also sturdy and even has an extra zipper to make it wider as we all know we never get tents back to initial packaged size! Highly recommend!
