I used the PureClean XL Rolling Steam Cleaner for the first time yesterday and I must say I'm impressed with its performance. I had read a few reviews prior so I was aware of its so-called shortcomings--mainly one to be exact--but after using your product, I can say it wasn't as bad as some would have you believe. Many users didn't like the fact that the unit doesn't have a reservoir window, which would allow you to see the level of water in the boiler. However, I feel had they read the owner's manual they'd realize 500ml of distilled water yields approximately 15 minutes of steam time. Therefore, I 'got around' not being able to see how much water is in the tank by simply using a timer; my smartphone saved the day and I found this method of 'gauging' the water level quite accurate.As for me, my only complaint is that there is no Steam Ready Light on the PureClean XL (PEROLSTM). However, on Pg19 of the Operation Manual under TROUBLESHOOTING - EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF WATER IN STEAM, one of the possible solutions is to "Wait until Steam Ready Light turns off to begin steaming." However, like I mentioned previously, because I'd read some reviews, I was privy to the fact that approximately 12 minutes is needed for the boiler to effectively do its job, given 1500ml of distilled water. However, I found around 8 minutes--again, according to the owner's manual--to be more correct. The steam it generated and the boiling sound also was a dead give away that it was ready to do some serious sanitizing, which I LOVED!Having touched on the CONS, I can say the PROS were numerous: namely all the included attachments. I just may look for surfaces throughout the house to steam just to try them out! I'll admit when I first started with the mop head it's delta-like shape threw me when it met the wall because I didn't realize the wand could rotate 360 degrees. But once I got the hang of it I looked forward to steaming along the baseboards. I know I mentioned it earlier but I have to say it again: THE STEAM!! The mop head looked like a steam engine as it glided over the floor. It removed scuff marks, stains--you name it--effortlessly. No downward pressure on the wand was needed, and in very little time the moisture evaporated to yield a spotless floor. I even held the mop head a few inches over my mattress to give it a good sanitizing, and slept very well that night. The boiler canister is surprisingly light even when filled with water--I found myself holding it in my hand as I steamed. The wands were long enough to allow me to reach far enough ahead of where I stood so I didn't step on freshly steamed areas.I could go on about the PureClean XL, but I seriously doubt you want to spend all day reading my praises. So, in closing, I'll just say I give this steamer 5 out of 5 stars.

A couple of days ago I discovered something unexpected on my furniture. There was some green stuff, and as I looked closer, at first I thought it was something that one of my children had done, but then I saw that it was spread all over the sofa. So I realized that I had a mold or mildew issue on my furniture, and that explained the reason why my asthma was starting to act up. I knew I needed to act fast.After some quick relatively quick research, I discovered the PureClean XL Rolling Steam Cleaner recommended by a blogger who gave it a very high rating in terms of cleaning upholstery.I knew that I needed to salvage my furniture, and I had already had a feeling that a steam cleaner would do the trick. Although there are other competitors, most of them had poor ratings for their price, such as the McCulloch. PureClean has a generous 5 year warranty, whereas many products in this price range often have a 1 year, or at most, a 2 year warranty. So, that sealed the deal for me!I decided to become and Amazon Prime member, strictly, for the purposes of purchasing the PureClean XL Steam Cleaner, because Amazon offered one day shipping. So that meant that I could order the steamer and get it the next day! Like I said - this was an emergency.The PureClean XL Steam Cleaner arrived quite early this morning, surprisingly, because the delivery deadline was supposed to be before 8 p.m. today. So, that meant that instead of me having to wait until tomorrow to start using the steamer, I was able to begin today. Yay, Amazon! It was totally worth the extra shipping fee I paid - to ensure the health of my family.Now I know that steamers have been around for a good while. One of my family members used a steamer to steam her clothes, and to clean around the house when I was much younger. Seeing this example, I had purchased a steamer on my own, to clean up my furniture, but I had such a disappointing experience because the container was so small, that I quickly gave up and stopped trying. That was over 15 years ago.Fast forward to the present.This time, with the help of the internet, to research the best product for the best price, and for my need - getting rid of that mold/mildew on my sofas - and, more importantly, the expert personal help of the Pure Enrichment (PureClean’s manufacturer) customer service team, Noelle and Terry, I was able to set up my steamer and tackle the mildew issue with great ease. It was actually a pleasure to clean! I was able to clean every surface area that was exposed, and steam the cracks and crevices, too, all while gently brushing the fabric of the sofa. I was also able to clean behind the cushions, not just surfaces that faced the light. After I was done, I cleaned the window and the floor. It was such a pleasure!As my daughter said, “It made cleaning a breeze.” I'm actually looking forward to cleaning. In fact, I'm so excited, that I don't want to leave my house until I've cleaned everything with my new steamer! I know that's unrealistic, but that's how much I enjoy this steamer and I'm going to tell everyone I know about it.
