I purchased this set with low expectations and I was very pleasantly surprised. We have had this for over a month and still works great.The knives are sharp and cutting is very easy with them. We have used them for fruits, vegetables and meat like chicken, etc. For all purposes these have worked superbly. We are not pro users in term of techniques, etc. even then the knives have served us well.A family expert was recommending a $200 set but I took my chance on this one and it has turned out to be great.Both me and my wife were wondering why did we not buy this sooner.

This is a great knife set for the value. The blades are sharp, nice variety of utensils, comes with the holding block and a knife sharpener and scissors. I've had them for a year now and they are still sharp. The only thing I don't like is that the blades should not be wet for too long or else they will start to tarnish. If you are someone who just throws dishes in the sink and come back to it a week later, your blades will be ruined.

AFTER 2 WEEKS THE WHOLE WOODEN BLOCK FELL APART. THE KNIFES RUST EASY SO BE READY TO WASH IN DRY AT THE SAME TIME.

The knives are well constructed with the blades not being flimsy. They are sharp and for the average person are excellent. The knife block is made of a decent wood and smells appealing. Everything is quality and I feel that this set is a safe bet for the money. One thing I really like is that the scissors have a bottle opener and a tool to aid in jar opening.I will need to update this review once I have used the knives for a prolonged period of time to speak properly on how they cut.

I am so unhappy with these knives. They all came with stickers on the blades that were a pain to get off. If they are wet for the shortest amount of time they rust. They were sharp for the first month or so, but get duller with each use. By the time I fully realized how bad they were, my return window had ended. I do not recommend this product. Spend a little more money and get something that will last; I certainly wish I had.

First, I'm giving a 3 star review have because is a very well presented product. The wooden box where is displayed is sturdy and fancy. The types of knives are basic essentials for the kitchen and was a good price. It arrived on time.However is described as German engineered stainless steel and is China and not stainless steel. If you leave by mistake a knife in the sink will be stained. Definitely do not put it on the dishwasher machine.

I couldn’t be happier with this knife set. Good quality, very sharp knives that feels solid and well made. Looks much more expensive than it actual price! The only thing I would change would be to have 6 steak knives instead of 4. Other than that, it’s a great buy!!!

I had to sharpen the knives some upon receiving but work fantastic. Hand wash only!
