KOHLER R77634-CP Converge Dual 5 Spray Hand Held Shower Head Combo With Magnetic Holder, Polished Chrome

I decided to go with this showerhead despite some less than stellar reviews. I figured that I could return it if it seemed really cheap or had poor flow. I was replacing one in a shower with two separate showerheads. I was replacing due to poor pressure likely from scale buildup in one of the heads. I wanted one with a detachable sprayer to be able to clean the shower more easily but that worked like a regular showerhead in general. I did take out the flow regulator after testing it once to be sure that I did not want to return it. I used a screw to remove it fairly easily.With the regulator out, the flow from this showerhead is equal to or better than my other shower head in the same shower. I am on well water and the overall water pressure is not quite as high as with city water but I was still impressed with the flow coming out of this head in all but the "mist" setting. That setting is not my favorite anyways, as the water comes out in such small droplets that it cools a bit in the air between the shower head and my body. The rest of the settings work very well. I use several of them on a regular basis.Unlike some others, I found detaching and reattaching the sprayer very easy once you figure out how to do it. I like the magnetic mechanism. I have had no problems using the button to switch between the different settings other than it is easier to do with the sprayer detached. I have used it for 2 months with no issues with the button sticking.Overall, I am very happy with it and found it to work better than I expected.

I bought both versions from Lowes because it is much cheaper there. These shower heads are a disappointment. i would say two of the five settings are nice. Water pressure is weak compared to Delta Kinetic and American Standard Waterwise products. And for anyone asking, it is all plastic. The hose has a metal shroud, but it is short and a piece of garbage. The color of the hose doesn't even match the fixture. It is easy to install without leaks and if you drill out the water saver, I'm sure it would be much better. I don't have to circumvent the water saver on the Delta and American standard shower heads.
