it's more like 10+ seconds
This camera.. oy.. so, yes it works. The ptz is a bit slow and janky though. And it takes forever for it to actually start streaming to you once you request the stream. My other cameras start within seconds of opening "ip cam viewer". This one, it's more like 10+ seconds, and I don't know why.Maybe this is different with the app? But the app sucks, stays running in the background even when you exit it. So I set it up with onvif. That was a pain it the butt. This camera is BARELY onvif compliant. And there's zero documentation out there, so here I'm going to make some, hopefully it will help someone in the future.These are for the IP cam viewer pro Android app, but they will have similar settings elsewhere I'm sure.Make: Unknown brandModel: ONVIF cameraWeb port: 80Onvif port: 8080Rtsp port: 554Onvif channel: leave blank to get ptz control, or channel 11 to force primary video stream with no ptz.Username and password are the same as you set up through the app.In advanced settings, invert both ptz axis to make it respond normally, they are backwards even in the stock app, it's annoying.You NEED to restart the camera after every change to the onvif settings in the web UI, or else it refuses to connect at all.Speaking of the web UI, that's another complaint of mine. It sucks, it's entirely in Chinese. Just use the app, you say? Well the app only has 1/5th the settings that are available. Hate the OSD displaying generic cameraName and date in the video stream? That setting is in the web UI, you'll need to use Google translate to find it.Same for the baked in dns settings, this thing calls home to china all the time to update your IP address so the app can get the video signal without fancy port forwarding and home built dns service, and that's fine I guess, but I don't want that to happen and I can't find the setting to turn it off. I turned off dns in the settings but it's still calling home. Still working on that one. I'll probably have to block the outgoing connections for the camera on my network. But I shouldn't have to, so they lose another star. Also, two times now the camera had dropped connection and refuses to connect at all until it's restarted. I don't understand that. But it's been up for a couple days now... So we'll see.All in all its an ok camera for simple users who are only going to use the app, and it's really really hard to beat the price. I'm going to keep using it. But for power users, if you haven't bought it already like I have, you may want to keep looking.

Wifi connection seems to be a common problem with many of the security camera's on the market?
Will not connect to wifi? Tried everything possible. Had 2 connected at one time then connection dropped on one or the other will not reconnect? Also one of the cameras is in black and white during day time? Cam Hi app was ok but the camera makes a very loud annoying noise when trying to connect and after 7 unsuccessful attempts I decided I would have to return unfortunately

Couldn't get camera to connect to my iphone. I loaded the app and flowed instructions, but the camera would never sync up to my phone. It just kept searching for over 10 minutes but would never locate the camera. I tried at least 5 times with no luck.

This thing would be great if it’s app worked well
I received this camera paying for 2 antenna version. It came and has only one antenna. I set the alarms to trigger recording on motion. Set motion sensitivity to high. It is not recording automatically. Nor can I seem to adjust the recording schedule to more than none or daily. This thing would be great if it’s app worked well. Oh and if I had gotten the extra antenna I paid for...that would’ve been nice too.

Great camera for the money I bought three, I couldn’t be happier with these no issues setting them up and works like a charm

Will not connect no matter what I did and tried all methods. Instructions are clearly written in a foreign language and translated and make little sense. Don’t buy.
