frustrating pump
this is the second shinmaywa pump we have used in our pond. had no problems with first one even tho we didnt know to change the oil. This one was installed 5/28/17 and has been a problem. It shuts off at unspecified intervals without blowing circuit breaker and turns back on after maybe 5 or more minutes without any intervention.

SO far, so good.replace the second unit of a competitors similar model. Was looking for a pump that could ingest the small frogs and plant material that seemed to always clog up the previous pumps. My pond has no more large fish thanks to the neighborhood great blue heron
