When my youngest and I have colds, we get terrible dry coughs that won’t stop. So I was looking for a good-quality steam inhaler. A steam inhaler works really well for this kind of persistent coughing. First, I liked that it has a metal water reservoir, so it doesn’t smell like plastic when it gets hot. Second, it has a simple design and is easy to set up. Finally, the company is based in Germany, so I hope it will last a long time.

So I had sinus pressure to the point where nothing was clearing and my nose and ears were clogged for days. Desperate I ordered this, and it has been my saving grace the last few days.People who said it took too long to heat? Shut the valve until it boils and then open. It's literally like a little pot inside the base with a funnel on it. Works great, takes about 3 mins to heat. Again, like taking a lid off the pot, want more steam shut again for a minute.Yes, you can burn yourself if you slosh water out because it's boiling water inside. Leave on the counter and you'll be fine! There's a slider to adjust how much steam comes out. Slide to close more or pull your face back to reach the deserved heat level.I've been using multiple times a day for days, and if you aren't stupid about boiling water in a device, this is fantastic for price. Follow these pieces and it'll be a dream to clear your face.I describe as basically putting your face over a boiling pot of water, with just a LITTLE control of the steam and you don't burn your face on a pot.Worked well for a desperate clogged nose, I'd tried everything else. Easy to use. Fill it, turn it on, inhale the steam. It really hasn't helped my sinuses but I'm not sure what is wrong with my sinuses. It is kind of light weight so becareful where you use it.

Arrived USED!!! Face grease on the clear plastic part, wrap ties open and plastic bag in the bottom of the box. Not cool, this is a personal device that should never be sold used. Returning!!!

This product loses Stars as a featured item of the unit does not come with inhalant pad that are called out in the description. When I contacted the seller, they referred me by link, to a seller (KAZ) that did not have available product (pad). The configuration of the unit limits to a single design of pad which isn't available. There is one other source of pad that (May) fit but I would trust the source and it was not recommended by beurer.

I have to write a review right away because I have read some reviews that are not flattering. This is the single most straight forward humidifier for respiratory and throat soreness we have ever purchased. Easy to assemble, and simple to use. In 5 minutes each, both my husband and I had clear noses and it soothed our throats from a cold virus. I want to thank Amazon for getting it to us faster than the expected time published. We are very pleased with this product and the results for relief!!

the inhaler I purchased over 30 years ago finally gave up the ghost just as I was needing all the help I could get. I wanted something simple and similar to what had worked so well for me for so long (the original model was no longer being sold). This was the closest. I was initially distressed at how little water it held but on the lowest setting (plenty for my needs) there was steam for the over 20 minutes suggested. I do have to set it on a higher counter and stand to use it successfully, but I didn't want to bother with an inhaler with too many moving or bending parts so this is entirely acceptable to me.
