I was nervous to use a moisturizer like this because I have oily skin
I was nervous to use a moisturizer like this because I have oily skin. I'm trying to get a handle on cell renewal, since I'm closer to 40 than not. I've been using OZ naturals exclusively, so I thought I'd give this a shot. It's wonderful. It's moisturizing upon application, but sinks in well. It can be kind of drying due to the retinol, but just barely - so scaling back to using it once a day or once every other day fixes that. This moisturizer is doing wonders for my neck too. I was noticing deeper lines there and some sagging and I can really see that it's helping to repair. This moisturizer combined with the OZ natural's retinol serum, their vitamin c serum with AHA, hyaluronic acid, and a twice a month Oz naturals glycolic peel have helped my skin tremendously. My face is super clear (I used to fight breakouts really hard), my pores are smaller, fine lines and slight sagging are plumped up, and my age spots are fading fast. It's amazing. I love their cleansers too. Knowing that these products are mostly natural is the best part...it's why I sought out Oz naturals products and I'm just soooo happy with them!

Retinol product effectkvmess has nothing to do w the labeled concentration, read for more info!
I never give 5 starts unless the product is truly outstanding (unlike anything else available, so basically a 1 of a kind product) i do however use and recommens Oz products. With this written, come on people, educate yourselves for real ignorance should be humanities 8th sin.Ok yes this product does not contain real retinol-a, a vitamin A derivative. But through chemical process via enzymes in the skin it is converted to the same with a significant concentration loss and trust me you will be grateful for that! Why? Because if you applied a true retinol a at a concentration of 2.5% and left it on overnight as is recommended for most retinol products, several layers of the dermis would simply put fall off. The purpose of a retinol product is to penetrate the outer layer of the skin, reduce oil production, irritate it and cause it to flake off so that 1. Acne can be controlled due to reduction in oil production a change in skin ph and an environment of quick cellular turn over that is not conducive to the survival of the bacteria that causes most acne. 2 an increase in cellular turn over rate so that new dermal cells, are constantly produced/replaced with new healthy propagation of dermal cells resulting in the that which most people would use this product for, younger, healthier, brighter, more supple skin. Now back to the concentration as I wrote earlier an actual strength of retinol in it's true form of 2.5% would actually be more damaging to the skin than it would be helpful, again simply put it would be to strong and affect deeper layers of the skin, likely causing skin irritation as a best case scenario and cellular destruction/damage as a worse case. It would be way to potent for the average human with 4 or 5 layers if skin which is normal to hanlde. So unless you are an alien be glad the 2.5% is not true retinol A and must be converted thereby reducing the concentration and potency.Next, prescription strength retinol products are generally 0.05%, maybe 1% (but not likely) the majority of top products (e.g., tretinion, retinol A, etc) max out at. 0.05% gel or cream. These products if not prescribed for acne control are extremely expensive unless ones insurance carrier covers said products for the off label use of an anti-aging component of skin care. 2. Daily night time use of a prescription retinol product will produce rapid top and maybe even secondary layer skin cell turn over and a considerable amount of dryness and flaking. The majority of people have to start out with prescription products by using them 1 or 2 times a week and work up to every night, being diligent in using a strong exfoliating product or enzyme treatmwnt to help remove the dead and dried cells if one does not want to be applying high moisture therapy, vitamin C, and Hyaluronic acid every 30 minutes during the day, not to mention the increased photosensitiviy created by use of Vitamin A derivative products so lots and lots of sunscreen 50 +++PA or higher throughout the day. I presonally recomend Elta MD daily UV 40. It is light absorbs well and, well what's the point if using retinol if one isn't going to use a sunscreen? That Would make no sense and contribute to added dryness and flaking, especially around the eyes, (not directly under them as the skin here is thinner and more delicate) there are retinol eye creams if you want that added benefit I'm your eye cream.Okay for a bit off topic as a retinol product that is effective and affordable this makes the grade. Unless one desires true retinol -a in pure form which is available only by doctor prescription at a potentially very high cost or possibly in proactive M.D.. (I honestly have not looked at the ingredient list of proactives newest line of products.) Then this product will produce all the positive anti-aging effects it promises. In fact some people may still find they cannot use it daily at first due to increased dryness and skin flaking.A further note about retinol product usage in any form. Unless one uses a full regimen and treatment including daily exfoliating, as well as at least weekly microderm abrasion like products available by many product manufacturers, my personal favorite by Aveda, or enzyme peel products weekly my personal favorite Amore Pacific botanical formula (I alternate the microderm abrasion and enzyme peel products weekly), As well as a vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid serums, moisturizer and or moisturizing sunscreen (recommendation above) since oz has done away with their SPF formulations probably because they cannot cold process them and keep them affordable. If one isn't going to commit to the full regimen again (a retinol product this or rx, a daily cleanser, a weekly microderm abrasion exfoliator or enzyme peel, vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid serums, moisturizer and or moisturizing sunscreen 30+ and a quality eye cream.) Then retinol use in any strength is going to be useless and may cause one more grief than positive results. So that is my long way of saying don't worry about the 2.5% concentration if this product it is plenty strong after converted and will provide excellent results if used appropriately and with a solid daily/weekly complementary skin care routine regimen a very important aspect if retinol usage in any form. I hope this helps those who have read to this point, as a nite I am 41 and people consistently guess my age at 30 to 32. While I do use a prescription of tretinion 0.05% several times a week in addition to this product I find it is almost just as effective as the tretinion. I use RX because my ins does cover it, but I have recommended it to friends and when they go to the doc and get a script the doc warns them it will be expensive and they are correct, I have had half a dozen friends tell me a 45g tube not covered by their ins is over $500, so again don't worry about the concentration, focus on cost and the actual effectiveness of the product.Again I know it was long, I was not compensated in anyway for this contribution, I just have a passion for anti-aging skin care and hope many find this info useful.Thank you

Good Stuff!
Been using it for months (summer and fall). Here are my comments:PROs:I was surprised to find that the retinol in this product does actually act like previous prescription retinols I'd used many years ago, but is much milder. No irritation.Inexpensive for the volume. One tube lasts a long time.I had been used to a much thicker product from Kiehl's that came in a short jar. I like this squeeze-tube much better. Easy to get just the amount I need, without my fingers touching the rest of the product.Squeezing the tube allows me to get the same amount each time. (Better than scooping out from a jar.)CONs:I had been used to a much thicker product from Kiehl's. This is much easily handled, but I'm thinking that a thicker product would seal in moisture more. (Important for my aging skin?)Doesn't make you feel like you have a moisturizing product on your skin. (That may be an advantage or not.)BOTTOM LINE:Hard for me to compare the impact on the appearance of my (aging) skin for certain, but I really like this stuff!

A Mega Boost Product in a Tube :
To think that now in my 40s, there would be a product that could help with signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines, I am truly shocked. It's safe to say like most, we all have tried products from companies that pitch their "promise of AMAZING results". I've been an OZ Naturals customer for just about 2yrs now, and I can definitively say I can't think of using products from anyone else for my skincare needs. Using this moisturizer totally sends the other serums, eye cream and facial cleansers I use into overdrive. The moisturizer does not leave me feeling greasy or looking oily, as with all the products from OZ Naturals, less is more with it absorbing fast and having no skin irritation. I choose to use this at night, though you are able to use it twice a day. My pillowcases are not stained.I've noticed my face feels great w/ the fine lines and wrinkles being reduced, and with time I am very much looking forward to great success with this product. I highly recommend this "boost in a tube" to everyone. Thank you OZ Naturals

Amazing at reducing wrinkles
This does not smell great at all, however, it's totally worth it because it really does tighten your skin and reduce wrinkles/fine lines. I tried another one with similar ingredients recently because of the smell and have gone straight back to this because I noticed an immediate change in my skin. I can honestly feel my skin tightening when I put this on. My skin is very sensitive and this is great, no reaction whatsoever. I would prefer it if it was in a jar so you could get every bit out but I will still continue to buy over and over.

Fabulous
If you’re in your 30s and not using a retinol cream, why not? Perfect for my troubled gradually maturing skin prone to adult acne. Despite having shea butter in, this product reduces my breakouts. I use it most evenings with a richer cream on my dry areas some nights.

Love this Moisturiser!
This is my 4th purchase of OZNaturals Retinol moisturiser and I still love it! I can use it night and morning as it doesn’t leave any greasiness and make up goes on perfectly over the top. It’s one of the best (& only) moisturisers with retinol in it and I definitely will purchase again. I’m glad to see the price has come down again as I had to pay about £30 for my last tube. Oh......and it’s lasts ages so is good value for money!
