The Thinksport Stainless Steel Sports Bottle is built for active lifestyles. Designed with a double-walled, vacuum-sealed construction, these bottles do not sweat and keep contents hot or cold for hours. The contoured design is easy to hold, and the included removable mesh filter keeps ice from blocking the spout. It is also perfect for brewing loose leaf tea or making campfire coffee! Our sports bottles undergo rigorous chemical and biological testing to ensure they do not contain any toxic chemicals.

Plastic chards from mouth piece flaking off into bottle
I LOVED these water bottles - so much so that I've bought 4 of them. I'd lose one and buy another. I also bought one as a gift. There are two problems with these water bottles. One, if you get a colored one, the color will flake/chip off in no time at all. My solution - buy the silver one (looks great!). Two, the plastic mouthpiece of the bottle that I bought most recently (last summer) has started flaking off - into the water bottle! I was actually drinking shards of plastic - so gross!!! I sent thinksport customer service an email - no response. I posted on their Facebook page - no response. As you can imagine, I do NOT want to buy another one of these bottles as much as I liked it. Alas, I am now in the market for another water bottle.

New Thinksport bottle will not retain cold
I’ve been carrying a water bottle everywhere I go for almost 30 years. Considering all the different containers I’ve carried, Thinksport quickly became my favorite: ergonomic (even at the large 20 ml size), easy to clean and assemble, and truly insulated. (Ice cubes would last 24 hours or more.)But I recently broke my original Thinksport bottle and sought to replace it on Amazon. The Thinksport bottle that arrived four days ago won’t retain cold water for more than 3 hours. Ice cubes melt as if in a standard drinking glass. The plastic lead that attaches the unscrewable top to the lid is made of a cheap stiff plastic instead of the flexible stuff used for earlier bottles.I can’t figure this out. Did I get a defective bottle? Did Thinksport start creating inferior products? What’s the deal?I am SO bummed about this discovery.

Watch that seal!
I'm choosy about my kids water bottles. We've had several of these for a couple of years. The stainless steel in this brand is a high grade that is safe. The paint is extremely durable, so it stays looking good for a long time. No complaints about insulation either. I also like that you can put the cap strap through your belt loop and then close the bottle, securing it without a carabiner. The only issue we've had is when the silicone seal inside the lid gets askew. If you don't notice and close the bottle, it will leak. Careful you don't lose that seal down the drain when washing! Our cat even chewed one we left by the sink. What saved us was that we got an extra seal with the first few bottles, but it seems they have stopped including them now. A shame, as the bottles are useless without them. However, that said, I just came back to buy a bigger size for my oldest. With care, they are a great product.

Best water bottle EVER!
I have used many different non plastic water bottles since 2002 when my mother was diagnosed with MS and she got rid of all our plastic though out the house. Over the years I have found many things I like and dislike about the ones I have used, especially the double walled insulated ones. The first thing I noticed about this bottle is that it is slightly textured for better grip. This also means the paint will stay on better and longer than my previous ones. The next thing I noticed was the bottom was different that the ones I have used previously. It seems like the seal is much better protected than my other bottles. I have always preferred the sports top to the open style top but with this one haveing a smaller drinking spout and a wide opening for filling made all the difference. I filled this with loose leaf tea for the first use because I wanted to test the tea screen in it and I was very impressed. None of the tea bits made it into my mouth and the tea was made at the same time as my coffee that morning 6:45am and I didn’t start drinking it until 11ish am and it was still just as hot as when it was made. The last drink I took about 1pm and it was at the perfect drinking temperature. ( I started it at super hot knowing I wouldn’t drink it right away which wasn’t needed since it didn’t start cooling until I was opening the bottle to drink it.) I am highly impressed and will be buying more in other sizes too!

Great product as always, beautiful color and coating
I love this vibrant new color and the way it's coated on the bottle. It's so eye-catching and just pretty. I've used these thinksport bottles for years now. I have had two of the 25 oz. ones and two of the 12 oz. ones which my kids use. These things are wonderful. I took my 25 oz. one on vacation to Maryland a couple years ago and had it outside with me on a 107 degree day. After being outside for an hour or so, there was still ice in the bottle. I've left it overnight in my car on a hot summer night only to find the water inside still cool the next morning. I'm loving the size of this 17 oz. one as it fits better in my hand than the larger size. The strap on this bottle appears to be thicker than previous models. I've never had a strap break but know some people have had that issue so it's nice to see that change. Loving my new bottle!

Best stainless water bottle out there!
This is the best water bottle I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot) lol! It comes with a cute little strainer in case you want to infuse fruit or use ice. Although Ice isn’t necessary with this. I actually find when I use ice it stays too cold for too long. Like teeth hurting cold. But if that’s what you like then go for the ice. I’ve had a problem with other stainless bottles making the water taste metallic and this doesn’t do that at all. This is my second from this company and will continue to use them for my next one when I need it. Definitely buy this if you’re tired of trying out other brands!

bad design
Good:-it keeps your drink hot or cold for a long time.-no odor or taste from the metal-wide mouth opening: easy to drink from and easy to clean.Bad:-I don't know why they produce these in colors. The color started to flake off within days of owning it. It leaves little green flakes on my stuff.-The plastic handle tore off after about eight months so now I just have to awkwardly hold the cap when I refill it.-Biggest complaint that made me sit down to write this review: After a few months of owning it, the cap stopped opening freely. Sometimes when I twist the cap, it turns but doesn't open. I saw that other reviewers had the same complaint and explained why this happens. Major design flaw.I've owned it for just over a year now, and I have to buy a new bottle.

Keeps water cold for a full day and more.
Keeps water very cold for 24 hours plus. Filter also prevents ice from blocking spout. The separate mouth piece from the water fill works well. Second skin makes good for no condensation. Robust handle is very useful when travelling

Thinksport
Nice look and keeps the water ICE cold, have to say its a little bulky however it does the job, could do with making one that holds more.

The best water bottle I've ever had
I love this water bottle. It keeps my water cold all day (without ice cubes). I used to use a stainless steel (non insulated) water bottle, and I always had to dump out about a third to half a bottle of water because it was warm, before I refilled it. With this one, i don't have to do that. I fill it from a brita pitcher I keep in the fridge. It doesn't keep the water as cold as when I first poured it, but it's still cold. It's pretty big, though, and you probably won't be able to fit it in the water bottle pocket on a backpack. I usually just put it inside my backpack. One con is with the mesh screen inside the bottle. It has a wire handle on it for pulling it out of the bottle, and where it inserts into the side of the body of the screen, it rusted within about 3 weeks of using the bottle. I haven't contacted the company about it yet, but I'm going to.

looks pretty but faded fast
This product definitely keeps beverages cold or hot. I have issues with the fact that you cannot use it in a dishwasher...if you do...which I did....the paint ends up coming off very quickly. I also ended up having to cut off the strap that holds the lid to the bottle top. Still is effective just doesn't look as nice.

Nice bottle, difficult to open sometimes
Looks nice, and it’s great to have two different opening options, but for some reason the bottle is impossible to open when it’s cold. The metal part inside just spins with the cap when it’s being turned. Luckily running the cap under hot water usually remedies the problem.
