AeroGarden Stainless Bounty Elite Wi-Fi-Stainless Steel Garden

Easy, cheap, fresh herbs year around. Was afraid I might be bringing a source of mess into my house, but with very little care I have a fresh patch of green in by den ( actually 2. I bought a second unit for tomatoes and peppers.) WiFi hook up very easy - I follow the unit on my I Pad..Have harvested by herbs 3 time now. That will be a fourth harvest latter today. If you like loke me were the weather dousn't allow for out door gardening (Las Vegas) this is the way to GROW!

Received the incorrect color at first (box was labeled as stainless but product was black plastic) and returned. Received the correct product today after returning the wrong color. This was incredibly easy to set up but will update as the growing process continues. Only issue was with creating an account via the app. The confirmation number was received very long after sending for confirmation. I suggest creating an account from a browser on your computer.

Some seed pods do not grow. I thought it said 100%. Anyway, plants that grew are bushy, not bad for lettuce but quite lots of trimming work for flower types.Very difficult to tell water level and difficult to pour water out for cleaning.Apps can only turn light on/off and that’s it. I thought I can control my unit with it but not.

Hello fellow shoppers. I do like my Aerogarden and have grown a lovely herb garden but not without some hassles and disappointments along the way.First issue i had was the software would not update. That problem did solve itself eventually, after a couple of months. Calls and contact with customer service were no help however.Next, the refill pod kit i bought for my 9 pod garden only came with supplies enough for 8 pods.Refill pod kits come with labels that do not stick to the pods. apparently heat must be used to activate the adhesive. So let me get this straight.. after loading the moss pod with microscopic seeds, placing it in the plastic cup, I'm supposed to iron on the pod label straight.. without tipping the pod or melting something or burning myself. This is not the recommended use for an iron. Self - adhesive labels would be preferable. Not very user friendly, and not very kid friendly. When I mentioned this to Deb at Aerogarden customer service, I was told in no uncertain terms this is not a kids garden, so you parents out there, be sure and DO NOT buy this... get your child a toy instead, and forgo teaching them about gardening and hydroponics. The unit is nice the seed pods were terrible!! Less than half grew.

I have purchased multiple AeroGardens and really like them, but some of my purchases have been done to replace failed units. I've not had any of these last much more than two years! Recently, I came across online posts and videos that describe a common problem--blown fuses. Inside the unit, on the main board, there is a 250 V, 2 A cartridge fuse that seems to blow in many units. It will cause the AeroGarden to go completely dead--as several of mine have. I had one bad AeroGarden in my garage and brought it in to see if this was a fuse problem. Lo and Behold--it was. AeroGarden's website says--in a tucked away page--that if the AeroGarden isn't plugged into a surge protector, this fuse can blow. I've installed no less than 7 AeroGardens, following instructions, and can never remember once seeing a directive stating the device must be used with a surge protector! SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD SURGE PROTECTOR ON THESE UNITS! They're not cheap and heaven knows how many units have been discarded because of a 50 cent fuse! Many users will not be comfortable soldering a new fuse onto the board. It should be user serviceable with exterior access.

I received this item as a gift several days ago (23Dec18). I tried to set it up and the screen does not work and is unreadable. I was able to get the pods in the aerogarden, but the screen still does not work and the light turns on at random times. I contacted aerogarden directly, but they have not responded. It is an expensive item so it is very disappointing that it does not work correctly.

Can't connect to my wifi network!, I've tried differents networks but everytime I get the same unable to connect screen. Really frustrating

Great price! I have wanted one of these for the last few years....could not believe it when they put it on sale for such an incredible price! I have had it for 8 days. I planted a basil (included) as well as some dwarf tomatoes (my own seeds), and a few flowers. The basil started to sprout a few days ago, and the tomatoes have started to poke their heads up. I am really excited about the entire process. The lights have to be on for 16 hours, and I had set it up but the lights bothered me, so I draped a thick coat around it (like you would a bird cage)...it works (also, it does not get too hot). I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who loves to grow/start plants and flowers. (The pic of the plant is the little basil that was included). PS UPDATE: May 3/2018: The last picture is one I posted of seeds that I started in my Bounty. (top left, petunia, top right, Impatiens, back 2 are romaine lettuce.) The roots were thick and huge! The plants very stocky and healthy! I decided to use it as a seed starter until the fall at which time, I will plant with lettuce and tomatoes to be grown the entire time over the winter.

This is a great little starter hydroponic set up if you want to grow the pre-packaged aero garden seed sets that they offer. However, if you want to grow your own herbs make sure that the light system (45W) will be enough to help them flourish. I will be purchasing another light source and just using this product for the hydroponic system.

I loved this product so I ordered a second one. But the second order came in defective, packaging was awful. I should say also damaged - the led monitor was dismantled from the body when I got it.The led monitor of course would not light up as well as the led growth lights.

Awesome product. Lettuce and basil grows so fast I had to move it to it's own garden so the other plants had room. 36 days in and I've already enjoyed fresh lettuce basil and dill. Ordering a second bounty elite wifi because there is more real estate to grow lettuce properly. Tomatoes and peppers need their own.

Product definitely makes it fool proof to grow plants and flowers. I purchased 2 units (one for home and one for the office). One unit shipped with a cracked light fixture (does not impact performance of unit). Also, based on the type of plant style you're growing, sometimes the system light gets 'locked' in an on state really early on in the light start cycle (ie: if I want to sleep in and turn the light off, there have been instances where I couldn't turn the light off right away... I get prompted about growth cycle and light cycle tips)
