My husband told me this was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten him. After a trip to Ireland, we were looking for something that could replicate the taste of an authentic Guiness. If you do the "pin trick" (look it up online) it gets you really close! It is easy to use, clean, and transport.

It does surge. Use the pin trick with regular drought cans.

You can indeed taste a difference if you use the pin trick compared to a normal can w/ the widget. It is noticeable but does not elevate it to out of this world. If I had to rate on a scale of 10. Pub-9. Can w/pin trick-7. Can normal -6. Does not work if you don't do the pin trick. Must release the gas w/o activating the widget. If you activate it and still run it through the surger it honestly tastes worse than normal activation.

Super fun device for guiness enthusiasts. Works just fine on any normal sized can. You don't have to have special Guinness cans. Even handy to save Guinness in bottles that your well-intentioned wife or friend gave you. Just pour it in a can, use the device and you'd never believe it was from the bottle.

This item CANNOT be used in the United States because the required canned Guinness ls not sold in the US, nor can it be shipped here. Basically it’s a paper weight. Guinness doesn’t even sell the required cans anymore. This should NOT be offered at all for anyone in the US and, of course I can’t return it because I am outside of my return window.
