Unconditionally Pleasant and Huggable
I like Farting Bert the Hippo far more than I even thought I would! He is remarkably huggable and adorable! Even though the farting sound is not remotely fart-like, it still lends itself to the whole hippoesque quality of Bert. I'm very glad I purchased Bert. He will be living in my classroom of 4th graders where he is sure to be warmly welcomed!

Poor quality
I wanted to love this, but sadly the farting sounds like maybe buzzing or chirping. Very cheaply made and way over priced for the poor quality. Bought this for my adult granddaughter as a joke and it's a joke, but not funny!! I'm embarrassed to give it to her. She's 28

Great for NCIS fans
This is a great gift for any NCIS fan! Looks the exact same as the show but only flaw is it's a different farting noise than the show. Still makes you giggle.

Hippo Bert is way cuter in real life! The quality is worth it!
This stuffed hippo from the TV show is soooo dang cute! I had my doubts paying $30 for a stuffed animal that wasn't made in Germany or Switzerland, but the complexity of the sewing quality and attention to detail, I can see the amount of work that went into this animal, so yeah, it's worth it and the cute factor is off the charts! He even comes with a real spiked collar just like Abby has on TV! Original collar (it has 2) is a soft one for child safety.Now, about the farting sound complaints .... look people, it says in the description on Amazon, it's not gonna sound like the dubbed sound effects on TV! Read the description and you might have more realistic expectations. There's probably copyright issues if they just took the sound off the TV show. Yes, it will make farting sounds, but is that really the biggest draw to this cuddly soooo cute animal? Really, people get a grip! Again, I was impressed with the build quality of this stuffed animal all the little details that had to be sewn ... even the teeth in the mouth have stitched seams!Yes, this will take a little time to get to you cause it ships from over seas, not at the local Amazon warehouse. But worth the wait! I love this thing! Aren't those pics so cute?

Great looking, disappointing sound
I like the quality of the stuffed animal. After reading the notice included with the toy, I want expecting the same sound as on TV, but it sounds nothing like a fart at all. It's more of a long scraping sound.

Bought it for a friend and she loved it, and the plus is she loves hippos too.
