The kit is very straightforward, but the instructions are very detailed (and look scary on first sight) but provided you follow the instructions word for word it all comes together really easily. The finished blind looks great and works perfectly. And good to know its safe for my grandchildren. EDIT:Having hung the blinds now, the instructions are great EXCEPT wrong in one area. When spacing the horizontal battens you need to divide the drop by 5 (not 6), then sew the 6th batten halfway between the bottom edge of the blind and the lowest batten. Otherwise you end up with the bottom hanging down when the blind is pulled up, when it should just tuck in neatly with the higher folds. Which is really annoying, cos I've had to spend ages adding another batten after I thought I was finished, and after all the other ones were sewn in place. Very awkward bit of sewing!

These blinds are good quality and the service and delivery was superb. However, my ceilings are high, so the 250cm cord drop takes me to my waist once erected. The chain however, is only 50cm long. Means I have to stand on a chair just to "barely" reach it to operate the blinds. Would be nice if the description mentioned the chain is only a 50cm drop. So be weary if you have high ceilings because you will not reach the chain. As mentioned in the description, you cannot use chain connectors either. Luckily there are many blind companies that sell continuous chains.
