High quality Letterman's jackets that are true to color, and true to size.
These are Awesome Letterman's jackets. I initially had my wife order one of the less expensive jackets ($85), but the color wasn't even close to being maroon. It was more of a cardinal red. When I put my high school maroon and white varsity letter on it, it looked awful. The quality of the wool was also not very good. Very light and flimsy. It proved once again, you get what you pay for.So I bit the bullet and ordered one of these Stewart & Strauss Letterman's jackets and held my breath until it arrived, wondering if the maroon wool portion of the jacket would actually be maroon or another variant of red. When it arrived I was extatic. The color was perfect. It matched my maroon varsity letter exactly. The wool body of the jacket is made of excellent heavy quality wool, and the white leather sleeves are also excellent quality. One of the biggest pluses with this company is that they offer these jackets in tall sizes. I'm 6'5" tall and need at minimum a 36' sleeve length. My chest is 45" so I ordered the XLT size. It fits like it was taylor made for me. The jacket was around $220 with tax, but I couldn't be more pleased.I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a good quality Letterman's jacket that will last for years. Are they pricey? Yes, but they're worth every penny.

Great jacket. You'll love it as soon as you get it.
My likes: I loved the jacket. The quality is great. The leather sleeeves are perfect. The shade of blue wool is outstanding. The jacket for nicely around the chest, arms, and waist. And it's at a good length. I'm 5'7, and the jacket comes down past my belt. The jacket keeps you warm. It has an inside pocket on the left side. The quality is top notch. My dislikes are: 1) The jacket seemed to have, a old dust to a small portion on the front chest area, as if it was sitting on display at a store for a long time, then just packaged, without getting a vacuum-dry-cleaners treatment. 2) A couple of the white buttons on the jacket were stripped of the white paint, kinda like a display model.Other than that, the jacket overall is very nice. You'll love it.

Good quality jacket but runs small
The jackets I ordered came in perfect condition. No complaints about quality. However I ordered an XL for my mom who wears a men's/unisex XL comfortably (not form fitting, but not baggy. Just comfy). As a guy who wears an XXL and sometimes fits XL, I compared my size to hers to figure what jacket to buy. I thought "By these inch standards, I should be able to barely fit the XL jacket, so this would be a perfect size for my mom since she's 50 lbs smaller than me."Seemed like the waistline was just a little too snug. Granted, my mom is very curvy, but if the jacket waistline had not been able to stretch, it wouldn't have fit. I had to pull a considerable amount to get the bottom buttons to snap. So my advice to curvy people is to measure yourself or go up a size (based off of what unisex shirt size you can comfortably wear). However my mom still loved it, it reminded her of her high school days and I definitely won the "favorite kid of the year" award. As far as the second jacket goes, that one was a large and for my gf who typically wears a men's/unisex medium. I'm thinking ordering up a size will prove to be the better choice this time but we will see how that goes. I will update this around christmas (since it's meant as a christmas gift).

One more measurement to consider
The size chart worked great for my chest, sleeve and waist measurements. However, do not overlook the body section between your chest and waist! I am overweight and have a stomach larger than my chest. I've always worn zippered jackets and that style seems to overcome that condition. With snaps, there are a couple in the middle that are a real stretch. I would exchange it for the next size up but then the sleeves would be too long. The jacket looks nice and feels comfortable as is, but will be perfect when I drop 10 lbs.

Great Quality and Fit
I'm always hesitant with buying clothes/shoes online but in the case of this jacket it was all I was hoping for and then some. I purchased this for my "Archie Andrews" Halloween costume. The fit was exactly as it said the measurements would be and the materials used are high quality. It definitely holds in body heat so if you're wanting to use this as a "winter coat" you'll probably be okay in the low 40's to higher 30's. Overall I'm really happy with this jacket.

Excellent quality
excellent quality, exactly like the one my husband had in high school! (His h.s. one "shrunk." LOL) He says it's very comfortable also. (bought it for his 70th birthday party, but he plans to wear it all the time)

GOOD BUY or GOODBYE
WHY I BOUGHT IT?In a TV show, I saw a man wearing a jacket that reminds me of someone in college. I googled it and finally found the name of the coat. I bought two different letterman jackets— one from another company.THE GOOD.I like the feel, especially on the inside. It is warm and cozy. It glides whenever I wear it because of the silky feel of the material on the inside. I like the material on the sleeve. Feels like leather.THE BAD.I am 5 feet and 4 in tall. Sleeve length of 23 in. I bought their XXS size. Although, the jacket fits perfectly fine on my torso. The sleeve size on the upper arm is so loose, and it is lengthy, which makes the sleeves look crumpled.GOOD BUY OR GOODBYE?I wanted to buy clothes that fit me (almost perfect).Although the material may justify the price, I found a better alternative that looks good on me, and it is half the price. Yet, they differ on the cloth, however. This is a GOODBYE.TIP.Always check the clothes size chart. Have a tape measure ready.I like the sleeve to be at the base of the thumb.Sleeves should look neat and almost straight. Some folds will do.I kept the other one from another company. (from BCPOLO)
