Exactly what I was looking for!
These shorts are perfect, if you are looking for an undergarment that is not 'shape' wear. They do give you the feeling of being 'held it' without the restricted feeling of shape wear. I am 5'2" weighing 150lbs, I ordered size 8-10 and they fit perfectly. They are higher waisted, so they hit me right at my natural waist line and are stretchy enough around the thigh that they can be pulled up for shorter dresses. They also help with thigh chaffing and give you a 'cooler' feeling when worn under a dress.I will never wear a dress without these again, as they provide so much comfort and security underneath...not to mention they prevent the dreaded 'hungry bum' when wearing a dress with thong underwear.

Perfect for under a skirt or dress to prevent Summer time chub rub
I purchased these to wear under a dress or skirt in the summer to prevent inner thigh chaffing. They are perfect for that. Light weight, thin material, they are not made for compression, so very comfortable and not binding or tight. They are very stretchy like panty hose would be so I can wear them high, just a few inches below my thigh, so stretch them down to below mid-thigh. I recommend that you size up. I normally wear a US size 14. I am 5' 2" and 185 lb. I purchased the 16-18 size that is labeled as a 3X in their size chart.

PERFECT!
LOVE! - just wish I could order more (currently not available?) - they felt a little tight at first but stretched out just enough to be comfortable but not loose, the answer to my HS issues on my thighs - sizing chart was correct too, not overly warm or suffocating in the summer heat either
