So good
Really helps me relax and sleep peacefully. Better than most on the market I’ve tried!

Ridiculously overpriced but tastes good
The caddy is heavy and gorgeous(I have a thing for packaging and will definitely reuse this). The tea itself is good, has a very fruity with a slight bitter flavor, but more of a daytime tea for me to relax and enjoy rather than a nighttime tea before bed(Anima Mundi Herbals has a Lucid Dream Tea that is way more effective to help me sleep). This didn’t help me sleep and it’s ridiculously overpriced when you can get tea with basically the same ingredients for less than $10 elsewhere. I’m giving three stars just because the caddy is gorgeous, reusable, and the tea is yummy if you like tropical fruity teas.

Tasty tea but needs improvement
The tea is calming and very tasty if you can get over the pungent smell that comes from the tea bags before infusion. The smell is not a problem now for me but it took time to get used to it. The bottle is pricey. I would recommend just buying the tea bags and storing in a tea canister. For the price of the tea bags I would real natural ingredients instead of added flavors. I have tried a few calming teas but I find the taste of this tea to surpass all the other teas.

Please Read the Ingredients & Make Sure it is Compatible With Your Medications. Caveat Emptor!
Folks, I cannot recommend this product because it made me dizzy and disoriented. As soon as I could think straight again, I looked up the ingredients and learned that it contains 16 percent Valerian Root. After goggling that ingredient and comparing it to my medicines, I learned that it can cause the symptoms I was experiencing especially for those in my age group. The bottle itself is very attractive; however, when you open the bottle, you may find that it does not smell good. That was my experience.I used two of the small Tea bags and added an artificial sweetener to the cup of hot water. The hot tea did not smell bad after a few minutes of seeping and it gave me a warm calming sensation after I drank about a half of a cup. A few minutes after finishing it though I began having the negative side effects.I decided to keep the bottle and through away the tea because of my experience. To be fair, there is a warning label to “consult your health care professional if you are pregnant, lactating, taking medication or suffering from a serious health condition before taking.”. The lesson to learn here is to read the ingredients and warning on the product and compare them to your medicines and health condition prior to ordering this product. I did not do that and suffered an adverse reaction.Let the buyer beware.

The best thing about this is the jar it comes in
If you look at the photo attached you’ll see that the package has a spot that reads “Don’t be put off by the pungent odour! It’s just the strength of the Valerian Root. (It disappears when in hot water).”I believed that message. I should not have believed that message. It smelled like old gym socks left in a locker for a year and, while the taste was not as bad as the odor (or odour, if you’re Australian) it wasn’t very pleasant either. As a food scientist/chef I always look back at my mentor telling me “It ain’t nutrition until it passes the lips”. It doesn’t matter how healthy something is, if someone won’t eat it or drink it, it can’t do them any good. Taste matters.Taste is subjective and you may not be offended by the taste, I was.As for its effectiveness, I can’t really say. There is literature that backs up to some extent, the claims made and it very well may help calm you or help you get to sleep. Then again, the same can be said for a cup of warm decaffeinated tea. Perhaps this is better than that but I’m not drinking it.The packaging is very nice, it would make a nice gift for someone who is into this type of product. The painted glass jar is nice as well (the cap is plastic). For what this costs, they should have at least used better tea bags; asking that the bags have strings w/ tabs on them, or that they are made of a higher-grade paper, shouldn’t be too much to ask when a teabag costs more than $1.00 per.Again, the taste is subjective, you may like the flavor or, at least, not find it offensive as I did.Review of: WelleCo - Sleep Welle Natural Calming Tea Caddy

Beautiful jar, scent is strong at first but tea is pretty good
I didn’t know what to expect with this tea. I have seen the WellCo Sleep tea at Sephora and was always curious about it so decided to get it.The jar holding the 50 tea bags is super nice and can definitely be re-used once empty. At first I was a little bit worried that it would not taste good as the smell coming out of the jar was very strong and not one of the best smell either but once the tea was put in boiling water, the strong scent quickly went away and the tea was very enjoyable. It is definitely a calming tea and is the perfect drink for me right before going to bed.All in all, this is a very nice tea, it does have a very strong smell out of the jar which eventually goes away. This tea gets a 4 stars from me.
