The product is exactly as mentioned in the description. But when it was shipped, I had a broken piece for the backrest. Contacted the customer service for the product and within a day they shipped a new one.Great customer support!!!The product is as sturdy and will meet the need. I had to apply some borate treatment and varnish to protect it as I am keeping it outside.

Overall, we are really pleased with this swing, especially for the price point! It is sturdy, looks great, sits comfortably, swings nicely, and is the perfect size for our townhome's back patio. Assembly took longer than the estimated 50 minutes because the bags containing the bolts were not labeled with the letters being used to refer to them in the instructions. The assembly instructions also could have used a bit more context in addition to the few diagrams listed. We've never put a swing frame together before, so we didn't know that the first few bolts attaching the legs to the top support would not be tight bolts, etc., so it just would have been nice to have some notes about that. Once we figured out assembly, it was simple enough to do; it just sometimes took a long time to figure out what it was telling us to do. It is definitely a two-person job, so make sure you grab a friend if you live alone!

A really poor quality swing. I'm spoiled because I had one that was handmade with real boards and was so heavy it took two of us to lift it and that one lasted me 20+ years. This is flimsy. It feels like it might buckle under you. There should be another board pinning the back to the sides because the bolt is loose and keeps shifting when I lean back. The back is not tall enough and digs in under my scapulae. The board at the end of the seat (perpendicular to the seat) is not at the right height and scratches and jabs the back of your knees.It was not that easy to build and we ended up having to get the handyman to come.I don't have a single good thing to say about this swing. It's just cheap. It's not durable. It's not comfortable.It's REALLY not worth the money. You can do better. Any swing has to be better than this one.

We ordered this for our little one who loves swinging and is quadriplegic. We added supports for her and safety harness. We also have it installed in the house. She can sit in the swing and we have a table that we can sit with her around and she can play or eat or watch Paw Patrol and of course we can adjust the height by adjusting the good quality chains that came with it. It is looks just like a porch swing that is made for one person. My husband and I both assembled it backwards first but figured it out pretty quick.It most certainly offers her a alternative place to be other than the bed, couch or floor. I would recommend this swing. The materials that it is built with seem sturdy and straight. The chains are strong and of good quality. The instructions leave a little to be desired. They are not as clear as we needed them to be, but that just gave us more experience taking it apart and rebuilding.

I typically don't leave reviews, as you normally "get what you pay for", however, this was sadly a terrible purchase.I'll start with the positives.. it's actually a very cute swing! The wood is a lovely color and it looks very nice in our front yard! It's small but quaint and looks like it belongs with our little flower garden! That is why I gave it 3 stars.It wasn't difficult to set up once you figured out what pieces belonged where. It did take me about 2 hours, however, the tools were so bad and I was missing 2 pieces, so I gave it 3 stars because of that.The canopy worked very well against the rain! It was downpouring and once it let up, I went out to see the damage and the canopy managed to hold all the water without much getting through! I was very impressed by that!The negatives far outweigh the positives, however.It came damaged (lots of knicks and actual cracks in the wood), but it's for the outdoors, so I didn't let that deter me.The tools were very cheap so while I was tightening things, it was actually bending the Allen wrench!I was missing 2 of the screws I needed for the reinforcing brackets.The wood is extremely soft so when you are tightening everything, you need to be extremely careful not to go too far or it will sink into the wood.One side of the canopy is out of alignment, so it doesn't rest snug on one side.The wood seems to be "bleeding" some kind of sticky substance? It's beading on the arms of the swing but that's probably normal? I'm not very sure.This swing would've been worth it if it was maybe $100. For nearly $400 it was definitely not a good investment.I hope this review helps someone.I'll add pictures once I'm home from work.Now all that being said, I put it together, managed to get parts from my local hardware store to finish the project and actually enjoyed the swing.. for two weeks. The entire frame started leaning to one side! The swing chair itself was hitting the wood! So my first thought was maybe it sunk into the ground? So I moved it (btw, I'm five feet and about 115, my daughter is a little taller and weighs about 105 so it wasn't due to maximum weight on the swing) come to find out, all the screws loosened up!! So, I worked on tightening everything back up and a week later I'm left with the frame shifting one more to one side! So frustrating!!

The swing was #hipped with a few parts missing from Part 2. I r3ceived a cr3dit from Amazon and purchased 5he missing parts. It was easy to assemble and looks great. I’m a satisfied customer.
